Pokemon

I was lookin' thru all my old stuff last night, and I found a bunch of my old card collections-I found bout 800 pokemon cards! Was anyone else into this crazy pokemon fad?

 

ill admit it ...i was...i still have em' ...they might be worth somthing some day

 

lol yeah-Im gonna find them in my basement 1 day when i turn 25...i also had the gameboy games, lol im such a nerd

 

i was a grown up when that hit. i was collecting shot glasses, matchbooks and phone numbers by then.

 

ahh those were the days. i used to be into pokemon so hardcore, i would go to card game tournaments and always place and win some green, and then buy more cards. gave all my cards to my nephew though a long time ago

 

my sis tells me now theres like, 400 new ones, it doesnt make as much sense as it use to

 

I dipped into that fad, then gave them all to my little brother and sister. They about died I think they were so excited. Theyre so stupid. Pokemon become unpopular so they came out with some yugio thing and now theyre all into that. I think the people of pokemon came out with it too.

 

i would just like to state that i hate anime

 

Same here, some people go crazy for it. There werre some anime shows on hbo before. This lady would grind on her motorcycle and well.. yeah it went on.. was pretty funny... Too bad pokemon isnt like that.. Although in japan it might be? I know alot of their tv is all nude.

 

When Pokemon very first came out i thought it would be a cool anime game (yeah, I like anime). I was already a gamer so I bought a bunch of Pokemon. Then a few months after it was released all of these screaming little kids started showing up at my gaming store with their parents in tow. Swamped the tournemnets with their complete lack of strategy. Abd then it started getting national attention. So I cashed out my entire collection at my gaming store for a few boxes of a better game. I had almost a complete set of first edition foils including 2 first edition foil Charizards. They went up to over $100 a piece. I still kick myself for that.

no, i never got into Pokemon. i played Magic: The Gathering. that was more fun, i still have all those cards though.

 

Why they arent worth more than a couple cents each now adays.

i only got into magiv the gathering. at onepoint my collection was worth $3000

 

yea, alot of my friends are anime-crazy. Im not really a fan...

 

~Back in 3rd and 4th grade i was pokemon crazy!i would take them to school and trade!wow what strange memories!..hehe i still have a little pokemon box full of cards sitting up in a closet....i think it will be something to look back on farther down the road!~

 

omg yes i loved it when i was 10 yrs old. I still have all my cards (lol) i also had all the games but over the years ive lost them
