What brings that up? Wouldn't it be the same thing as saying if I am Waldo (which I'm not in case you thought that haha) and I ask myself "Where's Waldo" am I crazy...now, judging by the way Waldo dresses, then yes he is crazy haha
I kind of see it as this person asking himself "Where is me?" in like the third person and SERIOUSLY being not very sure where that person really is or if he really exists. I thought that up in a moment of high epipheny while watching an interview of this Christian scientist. I felt really connected with everything and then to me it seemed as if God is in question of himself...
for anything to have created time and space it would have to have somehow stood outside of both of them to have done so as they would not yet have existed. so outside of time and space is the obvious answer if you define god as having to have created them. but this is only your own choosing as to how to define. it is perfectly possible for something big, friendly and nontangable to not have created anything, or at least not everything, or at least not have been alone in doing so. none of which are things we know nor have the capacity ever to do so. therefore why not let mystries be mysteries and let it go at that? that something big, friendly and nontangable, CAN exist, without its existence HAVING to have anyting to do with anything. =^^= .../\...
just let the leprachauns govern your mind and body, they know whats good for you. don't block out their voices. expand your mind.
Space is nothing; there is no need to create nothing. Time is a consequence of matter, and matter is made of energy (E=mc^2), so the big question is where all that damn energy came from. I blame Sugar Smacks
if we keep asking where everything came from, then the line never stops...don't know where I want to go with that, but it seems that stopping is the answer so the question has to change, but I don't know what to. Maybe that's it: i don't know. that's the key to everything.
oh man. i love a good analogy. i should start an analogy collection and publish a book of them. being god and wondering where god is doesn't make you insane (what is insanity?). because you can just as easily say "god is here", and not know where "here" is. is it possible to pinpoint "here"? how far does it extend? where is the densest point of here-ness? if you can't not be "here", is there such thing as "there"? waldo would wonder where waldo is because he doesn't know he is what he is looking for, but he knows that he exists... somewhere...
ok. this post should go in a hipforums page of the greatest posts ever. fuckin awesome in fact, i'm making one right now, just for this. feel honored.
no, what I'm saying is that if you are asking yourself "Where is WhisperingWoods" in a serious manner, in the third person...
Thanks for the kudos. Never thought I'd get to use that pic. And I swear to Jebus I am not a trekkie! Ok. Maybe a little.
Haha, Yeah, analogies are my best friend(s?)..anyways.. So you're saying if God were asking where he was..like when people speak in third person ("how is Arielle today?" "Arielle is good")..Okay, but now, doesn't God know where he is? I mean, we (as mere mortals lol) don't really know where he is, we (well, those that believe in God) just know that he exists (I'm saying this from how I understand how Christ believers think about it) where though is a tough question. Hmm..this made sense in my mind when I thought it, but now I don't know if this will make sense to you. Anyways, basically God should just say where he is. But I guess that doesn't really matter since it's not as if we'll ever know if he says it lol
well like i said, i believe we ARE god. were manifestations of divinity. i dont belive we are separate from it, "him". so thats why the question of "where is god?" boggles me as to the purpose of it.
Hmm... I've never heard of anyone believing that we are God. I understand why the question would be perplexing if you thought that though. Why do you believe that? (I'm not saying that rudely, I just mean, why, I want to be able to understand people's thinking lol, liek what made you feel that way about it)
i believe we all are god too. but i believe "we", the individual identity of self, is an illusion, so all that's left in "reality", is god, one consciousness. i just used like 7 psychonaut buzz words. and the question wasn't directed at me, but i'll tell you why i believe this anyway. when you are out of your mind (drugsss... or for other reasons, in other ways. but usually drugsss), you are out of your "self", and you can see what really is. what really is, is all one massive and magnificent Everything. maybe god has to wonder where god is, because if god says "god is here", god ceases to exist, because there is no longer any relativity?
