Ok i just got done watching The HIlls Have Eyes... and im really sorry for anybody who enjoyed that movie but im just desturbed. Lately Films have just been so desturbing! Hostle, House of a thousand courps...etc. But people really find them enjoyable...which i cant understand b/c your just watching people suffer and be tortured. N i know most people are just going to say its pretend but thats a bad step to take, when you watch something like that and enjoy it, its letting your mind except those images. I mean i can enjoy a good horror movie..if there is a plot and a point. But Lately i just feel like these movies are just pointless negetave energy. Well im sorry if you liked these movies but i was just disgusted with whats found exceptable these days. If we are trying for peace we cant except images like this. PEACE and LOVE to everybody <3<3Gabrielle.

I do know where you are coming from but I am a horror film fan and the thing i find is that personally, i never put myself in the place of the torturer but the victim, which is what makes it scary... i think i like them because they are so horrifying that you forget about all your own problems but you can also remind your self "it's just a movie"

i would like to see the hills have eyes,

see i dont get creeped out by movies with torture and i dont have nightmares about it or anything, however i do find the story behind it amusing, i absolutely loved the ending of hostel, so if you havent seen the movie i wont ruin it, but i will say, everyone you want to see die, dies.

I would rather have society have its shallow and animalistic need for violence fullfilled through movies than through actions any day. This is why I am not at all opposed to video games. I would rather see people shoot imaginary characters than each other.

thats what i did with Need for Speed: Most Wanted

in that game i got to do what i sometimes feel like doing in real life on the road, but don't because i know thats wrong. but in the game, i can smash cars up over and over and get my road rage frustrations out

I bought "Hills Have Eyes" and well the only torture i saw was the fact that this is not a recent movie rather just a simple remake of one that came out like almost 30 years ago. Seems the only torture was Hollywoods inability to have thier own thought.

I'm the opposite. When I was watching "The Devil's Rejects" I kept thinking of how fun it would be to just go on a killing spree and not give a fuck what happens. Just fucking with people and lettin my nuts hang. It looked like good fun. They were just a fun-loving family that had some strange hobbies. I wish I was close enough with my family to go on a killing spree with them. I don't know about you guys, but in the final scene, when "Freebird" is playing and they all get shot down while they're shooting at cops. I was just filled with warm and fuzzy feelings. They were living how they wanted to live, and I found that to be absolutely beautiful. Damn, I done started rambling. My bad.

most horror movies are absolutely terrible....sometimes to the point of just being funny (best example, in terms of what i've seen: Wrong Turn)

what ever happened to good horror movies like The Shining, The Omen, and Carry? and i think all three of these have had semi-recent remakes or sequels or something.

it seems there are very few good ideas out there that actually end up on screen.

Identity was good...Riding the bullet was cheesy fun with a point..Silver Bullet was also cheesy with some morals thrown in..
Maybe you just aren't picking the right movies?

they should make a film about the 2000 election and the downward spiral the country went into after the fact.......

that would make a fucking scary movie!
