i'm giggling.. :X my luck it will STILL be that hot when i get back there my friend how lives about 40 miles from you said the city temp sign said 120f today
thats just way too hot. i've biked in 110 degrees before, and thats brutal.... i like cool weather, around 70-80
dude... i was out at like 10 pm & it was still so humid it was hard to breath. it was still about 95 degrees when it was fucking dark outside, i was sweating bullets. its definetly no fun
and who says globel warming is bullshit? they need to live in the sac valley or new mexico.. or canada or england where they are having record temps..
I KNOW!! & the crazy thing is we've been having this heat wave for a couple weeks now & the other day it fucken RAINED! in the middle of the night it was thundering & raining. i think thats normal for some places (to rain when it really hot) but that is NOT normal for around here. its actually really creepy.
people here have been saying the weather is not usually like this here either. rains one day.. hot rain, humid air. then hot and dry and beautiful the next day then partly cloudy with lightening and thunder.. just odd
My girl friend just called ,4pm,sunday and said it was 112 there (30 miles south of Fresno)and it was 117!!!!in 3 rivers, which is up in th mountains east of Visalia,Ca.And their power was out.Damn--I have to go down there tues and bid some work. The hottest I ever worked in was 113.That means it was 143 on the roof!I can take it--but I don't have to like it.
my heart goes out to you. it only gets to 95-98 around here, and that's hot enough for me....geez, you guys must be dying for some cool waves about now.
114? are you serious?? the worst it got here was 107, but with added humidity, made it worse. I heard phoenix had a record temp of around 120..... or close to it.
I'm in Canada.... and our summers are usually humid hot and hellish ... and when in the city you die .... I dont think I even the notice global warming ... yet.
90degrees(f) and i don't know how high the humidity but it feels like being under polluted water AT 01:01 IN THE A.M.! that is just 'wrong'! even for down in here in this damd stinking hot valley at roseville california. last time i listened to the news a couple of days ago it was even 80 in TRUCKEE! (the same truckee where it snowed on the 15th of july the year i started kindergarten. there have been plenty of years with weeks on end of over 100 degree daytime temperatures, but the nightly low not falling below 80, this i've never heard of, and its been like this for i don't know how long, days anyway, maybe weeks, as i'm noctrunal and the city i live in isn't, so it's been a while since i've ventured out other then to check the mail. all we need is for the power to go off and we'll be dropping like flys. that day will come too. if we don't stop driving cars and using combustion to generate energy. even when we do it's going to take probably more then a decade for things to level off. but if we don't, we're going to end up with a dead airless desert of a world like mars. =^^= .../\...
