lost and confused....

was recently diagnosed with cancer, i am 27years old.. no job, no insurance, no chance in hell.. is it wrong to want to just walk off into the woods and let this cancer carry out its course?? no way i am gonna undergo radiation therapy.. so my options are few.. any input might help me out.. thanks for caring.. later...

I have no expierence with cancer myself but I do know a survivor, and here all the time about people who beat cancer. I would suggest getting a seconds opinion first off. Secondly if you dont think radiation treatment is something you would want to try, you should do soome reasearch online about alternative treatments. With some sicknesses the sooner you start caring for the problem the better, and time can be crucial so I've heard.

I would not suggest just going out into a forest somewhere and letting cancer do its thing. Maybe if there was 0% chance of recovery but thats not the case, many people survive cancer, and you can too.

If money is the only problem I think there may be help out there for people who lack money for medical problems. If you are going through all this alone and need someone to help do some research for you, I would be honored to help.

Please dont loose hope and run off into the forest thinking Cancer is unbeatable, because people are beatting cancer everyday, and thats the truth.

I'm sorry for my english,that's not as good as it would have to be to make you understand what i want to say,anyway,i'll try..I can try to understand your situation,even if i think that a person can't really understand something untill he's inside it, But why don't you want to try to fight against this cancer?Why would you prefer to let it carry out its course? Aren't there any other possibilities to find a way of going out this?If you want to win this battle,you should be the FIRST to believe that you can win it.Don't let yourself going on...We are given just one life,don't you think it would be better to live it at all??you may say i'm just 17,and that i'd have to be older to understand....but this are my thoughts,i feel so sorry i can't help you in any ways.I can only try to convince you to fight.Life is hard to be lived when you're in this situations,and it's normal that sometimes you don't have the forces to react. I hope i'll have your news have a nice day

thanks for the kind and thoughtful words from all who posted.. i was told i have a 50/50 shot of a treatment working for me.. seems as though my cancer was incognito for too long.. doctors want me to undergo radiation asap.. but i am not going that route.. i have read about some all natural treatments, not sure if they will work for me but i will prolly try that first.. i will know more about my chances in a month..

im a nurse, ive worked with many cancer patients in my career and i can tell you from experience, treatment (radiation/chemo/holistics) your mindset will drive this disease and you need to fight it mentally before you can ever take it on physically. stay true to yourself and your heart and you will fight it the best way your body knows how. namaste

 

Agreed with chillaxintoday. Be strong, brother, and fight this- you have a chance to make such a difference on this beautiful planet. I would definitely look into more natural treatments, as they are the least harmful to your body and soul and all that, but I wish you the best of luck and vibes and love Whatever your choice, whatever your intuition tells you, it's the right one for you!

 

The only reason I'm commenting is because your life is on the line. I think letting your body try to heal cancer on it's own or using alternative treatments is not your best course to health.

Though it can't hurt to explore the possibilities the truth is that if so called "alternative" treatments were as succesful as people claim... they wouldn't be alternative.

Don't "go with your gut"... Go with what has been proven to work: A strong will and mind, and proven treatments (i.e. radiation) if you want to try and live.

lastest news on my chances here brothers/sisters.. a random church in the city i live in heard it through the grape vine(blood family) about my condition and situation.. they sent me a letter stating they would pay for any treatment needed at full costs..not sure what to think about that.. but how can i not accept it.. anyways maybe things are looking brighter in this cave i dwell in..
