its been really hard for me to sleep lately. ive been stressed, have a lot of things going on, lookin forward to stuff, ect, you get the point. everyday im budy from 9 until around midnight, and then i just kinda wanna chill and cant sleep. im just wondering what kind of havoc im putting on my body, other than the obvious "tired" and "overworking yourself" things, like weakend immune system.. the reason i ask is because i do this ALL THE TIME and i still feel like im alright; i dont get sick often or anything. am i just lucky or will it catch up with me soon, and what should i expect?
you're young. That's why your body is bouncing back from all the abuse you have subjected it to lately. But that doesn't mean it isn't taking its toll on you, both physically and mentally. Chronic sleep deprivation almost always goes hand-in-hand with depression (whether it causes it or is a symptom of it, I don't know for sure). Make yourself well. Stress can kill a person, and often does.
I'd suggest some sort of relaxation technique before bedtime, or even something as simple as deep breathing while you are stressed...and try to take some time to chill before you go to bed. If you just go from busy to sleep time, you're still too hyped up to sleep!
I get that too... I have anxiety disorder and the stress can cause me a lot of problems including sleeplessness. I try to think of boring things while in bed and that tends to help me get sleepy.
Omg what is wrong iwth u all ppl..... Eat healthy ,adn spedn 1 hour in ur life , it can be this exact hour and reasearch on healthy tips, PROPER NUTRITION, effects of lack of sleep. Stupid young peopel, killing ur self just because of lack of knowledge. Use logic. MAYBE U ARE suepr natural can be awake 24/7 and still feel aight ?? omg...
