the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy

I've been waiting for this movie forever and I'm pretty excited about it.
I guess a lot of people are worried about the cast.
Anyone else looking forward to seeing this movie?

 

are you saying they are making a real version. not the old low budget stuff that is always on cable?

 

There has already been a TV version made.It was OK but I preferred the original version made for radio.It had more intimacy.

 

there was a 1970's super low budget version made by the BBC, its just so crap its good

 

I preferred the books. But! If their gonna do it with 2004 technology! Gimmeee!!!!!!!! I wanna see the black, invisible "Guide", Bird! Thing!

 

"So Long, and Thanks For All The Fish!" was pretty cool too.

That was the Original TV Series. Douglas Adams is a UK Citezen. Thats why in everyone you see, the "Guide" has a british accent. Same with Ford Perfect. And, The Paranoid Android.
(The Android Voice, also did C3PO!)

 

I heard Mos Def is gonna play Ford Prefect, so I'm definatly stoked, I just hope they don't screw with it too much in the script!
