This may garner more of a response on Random Thoughts. But I'll answer. Just tune your thoughts to something else. Listen to music, read a book, go for a walk and observe nature. The brain needs to be constantly stimulated. If not, it keeps repeating the same old things over and over.

    i either:

A.) snap like a bitch and look ridiculous. im very anal and precise with how i like things and ways for things to be done, so i freak if someone messes up the order of it all.

    or

B.) force myself to turn away, think of something totally unrelated. and it doesnt always make me 'unpissed off,' but it gives me a second to breathe and to think of something a bit more logical to say if i must speak up.

Either I go listen to music or play very violent video games or lose control and literally try to kill that person.

I try and see things from the person I'm pissed at's perspective. Then I feel somewhat better and just avoid them for a while to let all residual anger fade.

I go to my room or on the computer and depending on how hard the situation is to deal with for me I cry, but I always turn on music. But i feel better after I cry. But I don't talk much for the rest of the day or night whenever until the next day until Im over it. Again it all depends on how bad the situation is and how I can deal with it at the time.

    I do the same.
I am naturally very empathetic [which can be a downfall, actually]
but it does work to help anger subside.

Otherwise, it's good to remember that a person is not worth that much negative energy. When I'm angry, it's generally never with people.

I don't have time to worry about what other people are doing or saying...and if they are irritating me, I space myself from them until I feel that I am calm enough to be civil and peaceful around them again.

Didn't you see The Ugly? You kill them with a foldout blade. If this movie was required viewing in schools I wouldn't have had to answer this question. Start lobbying.
