hello, i have a few buds that are too moist. When i bought them from my dealer they were too dry so i added an orange peel to the bag, but i left it too long and now they feel way too moist and i think theyre developing mold. What can i do to dry them out a bit? Would it be ok to just put them in the microwave oven for 10 seconds or would they lose too much potency that way?

if there is in-fact mold i can tell you how to efficiently flush it. you don't want to smoke moldy weed and you obviously don't want to waste it.

but if they are just a little wet then you can stick em on a paper towel.

just singe the mold off with your lighter, and leave the weed in a tin or something of the sort

1st off, there is no way to tell if the mold has spread to the inner parts of the bud, mold is very seldom just a solid layer on the outer part of it's host. 2nd, attempting to remove it by burning can't possibly get it all off, and will most likely leave behind a residue, for which the potential of toxicity is the same as the mold. if there is mold on your weed, it is simply not safe to consume.

mould isnt the problem, spores are. its probably not a problem at all if you had like a double chamber bong. if you burn it while smoking, it kills the mould, the problem is when the spores suck out of the weed before its ignited, and you breath them in. thats, at leas,t the only reason mould would be a problem that ive known of . a tripple chamber ice + filter bong would prevent thes pores hopefully ;)

well i smoked some of it last night and everything seemed normal, but my stomach did begin to ache a little bit, do you think that that was the mold or just my stomach acheing?
