I went to San Francisco for a week and was very pleased with my activities. I saw/heard the Gay Men's Chorus at Davies Hall. I worked for three days at Marin General in Greenbrae. I ate at the Pork Store Cafe, at Orphan Andy's and at the Stinking Rose. I bought high end extra virgin Sicilian olive oil at Molinari's in North Beach and had them make me a roast beef and cheese on ciabatta bread which I walked down to Washington Square Park and ate. Met up with old friends, drank liqueur, did lots of walking South of Market, on Russian Hill and in the Mission. Went to the Rainbow Grocery for some grains from the bin and hard-working emolients for hand lotion. All in all it was quite the good week
I am hoping to return during this year's Labor Day Weekend. By then I will have finished my nursing class.
