i smoke ciggarettes and since im not 18, i cant just walk into a gas station and buy them. so i usually have to stand by a gas station and wait for someone who looks like they would get me them and i as them if i give them the money if they will go in and buy them for me. most people dont say yes but usually one person will so it usually works.

well today i was doing that and i ask this one guy and he refuses. alright, thats cool, ill just wait for another person to come by. but its not enough to just say "no, i dont wanna get caught" this guy has to go, tell the store clerk and then call the fucking cops on me! the cops get there and start to tell me that they can arrest me cause im doing illegal stuff. thankfully, i dont completely fold under pressure and asked them what i was doing illegal, they said i was asking people to buy me some ciggs. i pointed out that thats not illegal since i wasnt actually smoking them so in the end, they could only to tell me to leave cause i was loitering.

why couldnt the guy have just said no and then have been done? why did he have to be an ass and try to get me in trouble? damn

its my only option. and i have to judge people by looking at them to see if theyll do it. im not gonna ask a guy whose 40ish in a buisness suit.

if you got any better ideas on how to buy some, please do tell

 

find a shop that sells you...

 

basically you could get a whole shit load of people in trouble
you could get whoever buys you cigarettes in trouble
you could get the guy who sold that guy cigarettes in trouble

and it's not very attractive, in whatever sense, to see some kid outside a kwik-e-stop beggin' people to buy him cigarettes because jimmy jerusalem actually knows the "authorities" don't like lawbreakers (even if he does sell bongs under the counter)

and cigarettes are too damn expensive anyways, why don't you just mooch a few from a friend, steal some from your parents.

well since i cant smoke bud right now and id rather have a buzz now and then than nothing for 8 monthes, ill choose the ciggs. no one in my family smokes, im not at home right now so i dont have any friends around to bum off. i ask them and if they say yes, then they know the risk involved so if they get in trouble for it, its my fault for asking, but also his fault for accepting. i dont mind if he says no, just he diddnt have to call the cops about it.

 

You should have told the cops, that this guy normally gets the cigarettes for you only this time he wanted to make nude pictures of you - or something like that :X

However, I stopped smoking after 26 years. It was so f***ing hard. I can only hope you can stop, before you really get addicted. These cigarette companies really suck and yes, you´d be better off smoking something else .

Well I'm against anyone who are going to get convienent store employees in trouble. The price they have to pay isn't fair. ...

When I worked at one, if my coworker or I saw some kid doing that, we'd tell the person who came in that the kid was working for the cops. lol. One guy was going to buy the kid a bunch of gum and give it to him and say "quit". I'm doing that if anyone asks me ever.

Get older friends or something. Stop trying to get strangers to break the law for you. Thats lame.

 

Fucks sake guys, he just wants a smoke at the end of the day. Before finding places that serve me alcohol, ive had to do that... Otherwise, im drinkless for the night, and on some friday nights, i just dont want that...

And speaking as someone who is currently in legal trouble cause of stupid minors, really, its dumb as hell to be putting so many people at risk. Like the people who'd get mad at me for not selling to them cause they had a minor with them (second party laws.. if the minor selects the beverage, they have to be IDed even if they aren't paying), I'd just say "I'm sorry, but you gotta learn to buy alcohol correctly or stop drinking."

 

right now ive got no choice. because i got busted my mom freaked and sent me to my dads in PA. i dont know anyone right now so im kinda stuck.

and its not a metter of quitting. im not addicted and havnt had a smoke in 8 weeks because i got sent here. i wasnt supposed to be here that long and being completely sober for long periods of time really sucks.

and im not forcing any one to do it, im asking. its up to them. they just dont have to call the cops

 

I don't blame the guy. Besides, I doubt HE called the cops. He probably just told the clerk, and then he/she called the cops. When I'm trying to pay for gas or something, I don't want kids bothering me to buy them smokes, and the people who own the gas stations surely don't want it, either. People don't want to be hassled, and customers are less likely to come back to that gas station every time you ask for smokes.

Besides, they obviously don't make you cool, they make you smell bad, they're bad for your health... just get over 'em. Almost everyone I know who smokes wants to quit, anyway. Just stop before you really are addicted.

I would never call the cops on someone, but it would annoy me to be asked, and I wouldn't buy for someone. I say, either stop smoking, or just accept the consequences.

Drinking won't necessarily kill you. Smoking will.

Just quit man, take it as a sign. Besides, think about how much money you're dumping into it and spend it on something else.

like i said, i hadnt smoked in 8 weeks. i always spent way more on weed than ciggs. and im not hassling, i ask them a question and accept their answer. im not doing it to look cool. i do it cause i like the buzz and im not a regular smoker. i make a pack last 2 weeks. so im not thropwing away money
