so i decided to grow. i've already germinated the seeds using the paper towl method for about 2 days. they have a single white/silver root coming out, and i have a place to plant but not sure. Would it be a rather good idea to plant near a very small stream/creek. ??? if so, how do i do it?

well man what part of the county u live in because if your planting in July up north u want get a long grow season about 3 good mouths. But planting next to a stream can be tricky i wouldnt do it i try one time and they got washed away unless you make a kinda dam thats what my friend did and his did actully really good the thing about planting next to a stream is that u dont havent to water them and theyll still get big. My friends got 9ft tall next to the stream but of couse he was in the south were u get a long grow season even in late summer. but you can try see if it works i d like to know

well its very hidden if thats what you mean. no where close to anyone. but detection isnt my issue, i would like to know if i would be able to grow there without drowning the plants.

alright. thanks man. i'll do that. i know its kinda late for me to be growing right now. but i thought it wouldnt hurt to try. how far away do you think i should plant the seedlings away from the creek. its only like 1.5 ft wide and 2-3ft in some spots and about 3 inches deep.

Well if it rains hard that creek can get to be 3ft wide 9inchs deep it all depends on rain you got to know the weather in your area. and know the area you growing you can tell if the water ever rised to that point where your planting

It's a bad idea to plant next to a stream.
-The roots of marijuana need to dry our between waterings. Roots grow very poorly in soil that's always wet. Also fall rains can wash steamside plants away.
-Steams attract wildlife (like deer that eat plants) and hunters/hikers, who steal plants.

I have a thread in the outdoor growing forum that details guerilla growing.
