A year or two ago, my friend and I were headed out to a party at the house of Tom Shipley, of Brewer and Shipley, but we didn't know the road for sure in the dark. We were smoking a joint on the way out there, and we turned down this dirt road, thinking it might be the right one. We drove down it a while, deciding it wasn't the road, and turned around. We were in a van, and on the way back, we passed a little Nissan or Toyota type car. We named the road Corn Creek, and made it to the party. A week or two after that, we went hit Corn Creek road with another friend, this time in his Nissan car. As we were driving down the road, we passed a van very similar to mine. This road has time travel capabilities. Since then, I had to sell the van and get a car, and my friend and I have tried to find Corn Creek road. We have tried at least six times and never found it, day or night. I think the road has disappeared. Maybe if I get another van, it will reappear. Anyone else have similar stories?
Dude, I am sorry but there's no such a thing as a disapearing road that makes you travel in time. probably it was just a coincidence my friend. uhm... very unlikely. I'd rather think that you guys just searched somewhere else or were just too stoned to remember where the place was. anyway I have a smiar story but I know it must be some kind of coincidence or something... It happend when I was leaving my friend's house. after leaving this guy's home I took the elevator. When I came out of the elevator a saw a guy standing right in front of the elevator's door .I just saluted him and left. then 30 secs later, on the corridor leading to the exit.I could swear that I have seen the same guy standing right in front of the exit. It's kinda lame I know, but I am really sure it was the same guy and there's no way that he could have got there before me unless he took a sprint or something. mmm.... dont know maybe a twin brother??
Its obvious, the road hasn't been built yet. The planning departmant should have a website, check it every so often so you find out when they plan to build it.
fuuuck man...so since you were high the first time you found the road, did you feel high the second time you went there if you wern't high already?
Well, kar33m, I don't honestly believe that while on a dirt road, I traveled to the Civil War era. The road dead ended into a driveway of a plantation style house, after many many miles. We were high. We then named that particular road "Plantation Road." Pardon us for enjoying our adventure. And no, I don't believe that we passed by ourselves on the other road, either. It was just more high travels. All I know is that we haven't come across the road since I sold my van. Didn't mean to ruin your day by sharing a story.
how do you come across a road? its there, between two buildings or two trees. it cant dissapear, all that can happen is you take too many drugs to navigate properly
Well...maybe you have to be high to find the road! ME and my friend have a road taht we can ONLY find when we're high. We've looked for it when we weren't and we could never find it.
I had something really similar happen, me and a friend were walking down to this creek to smoke. Everyother time that we had gone we had to go a really long way. This time was different though, I had sprained my ankle and really couldnt do the walk. You gotta know we know this place like the palm of our hand. And so we were about to give up when a dove flew out of a bush. We took this as a sign and pushed the bush aside. We looked in and there was a staircase made out of stone that lead right down to the creek and on the first block there was a cross. We didn't know whether to be scared or happy, but to this day we always take it.
Dirt roads due have a habit of dissappearing if they are not maintained. Usually they just get overgrown with vegetation.
yeh over like years... i dunno, i dont really get this whole 'come across' a path, i mean, you find a path, and you either remember where it is from the start, or you remember where it is from a certain place, or you dont remember where it is. i mean its one thing to find a place, then go back to find it, not find it, then get fucked up and stumble across it but if you couldnt work out where you are the second time you stumble across it then surely youd have trouble getting around
so would one cnoclude that the difficulty, which contributes to the misfinding of roads, is due to the fact that its night time, and not being on drugs? perhaps people drive more sober at night, who knows, at least not in the drunkeness department. or is a road more noticable at night due to road lights or marks or somethin? whats goin on here mate
The road isn't lit well, there aren't any reflectors or anything, we stole a couple reflectors on other roads to mark this road with. There are a lot of trees on either side of the highway. Cars and semi trucks like to ride your ass down the road, so it's not as easy to slowly drive by and find the road.
