If you like cities... go to Manchester, it's way better than London. For beaches, countryside and laid-back life visit Devon and Cornwall. Also go and visit the Eden project in St Austell. Stone-henge is a must see! That's on Salisbury Plain. York is just an amazing city with lots of history and things to do.
