How come you never get mad at satan

So does a crack dealer but I don't see people out there worshiping him.

 

I never even consider the thought of blaming satan when things go wrong in my life. If anything, I blame myself. I think I am my worst enemy at times. I am always thanking/praising God for the good things that go on in my life. I am a Christian though I do not go to church. I don't think I have to in order to have God in my life. I don't want Satan in my life so I try to stay away from areas that would invite him in.

As for bad things happening to innocent people. I don't even know how to tackle that subject.

 

bad things happen to good people, good things happen to bad people, good things happen to good people, bad things happen to bad people, it's all the same. God rules with justice even when we can't see it, He knows better than any one of us about the past, present, and future, and it all boils down to this: what are YOU doing to make a positive difference in the world?

I don't worship Satan, nor God or any religious deity. But even if I believed in the Christian model of how the universe is run, ya know, could you really blame Satan... I mean, that's the job he got stuck with. Somebody had to be the big bad Devil to scare the kids at Sunday school. That's what he does. Getting mad at the devil's like getting mad at the pigeons that crap on your car. Shit happens.

God, on the other hand, is supposedly this all-too-wonderful entity that's unspeakably good and so forth. So God's got a lot more to prove about his omnipotent love than the Devil.

:shrug: Hehe, sure, possible nuff ... I mean, God's supposedly all-knowing and all-powerful etc etc right? So evidently a Satan fits into his great design or whatever, otherwise you'd figure he wouldn't have created him. If God's really such a great guy, why hasn't he used his limitless powers to smite the Devil and rid us of his menace?

When you're an omnipotent being that's created everything, oversees everything and all that, that would kinda make you responsible for everything, wouldn't it?

 

well no not really.

you see, though God created angels [sometime before he created the world in seven days] he created them to exist of themselves. Whereas all other creations exist of God's Grace. Through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Angels, fallen and not, are pure spirits in themselves and in that sense are equivalent to God.
So the angelic will and the single choice of good or evil are exclusive to the angel and not God.

 

don't degrade people for a belief that is the cornerstone of their existance. it's just mean. i'm not gonna get all mocking about hindus feeding milk to a statue. something very powerful is happening for them. just smile and go about your existance, whatever your purpose may be.

I don't believe in satan, I do however believe in god, and indulge in a healthy dose of thanks and blame quite a lot.

I think god had such a sense of humour when she created the world
