Hmm? Indigos? Where are they? There are so few in Missouri.

I would like to know what others think our role is in the long term. Are we just a massive genetic glitch? Delusional? Fed up? The next "Evolutionary step?"

    I just don't know.

Who knows. What I am is what I am, what you are is what you are; labels aside.

i agree with the above said statment.

my theory is that "indigos" have always been on the earth, and the supernatural powers they have are no different than being born naturaly athletic, i think some people are born more intune with the supernatural, these our the indigo, i belive i am an indigo, the only reason i think this is because i feel a stronger conection with the paranormal, mostly in the feilds of empathy. i can read people much better, and in a few casses i can "feel" peoples troubel with out even being around them.

some of us have extreen disaplin, some of us are strong or atheletic, and yet still some of us are more intouch with the supernatural part of our brain. you can work to be better at any of the above, it just might be harder.

I think I am one, but it doesn't really matter much to me any more. I am how I am, and whether you label me an Indigo or not isn't going to change it.
Here's a good site on indigos, but just don't get too obsessed with the idea if you think you are one. I know plenty of people (online) who let their Indigo-ness go to their heads, thinking they are better than other people, etc.

Bunkum, pure and simple. To illustrate I will take an example from the website posted by IllusoryFreedom. Here is part of their description of "indigos"

These are the children who are often rebellious to authority, nonconformist, extremely emotionally and sometimes physically sensitive or fragile, highly talented or academically gifted and often metaphysically gifted as well, usually intuitive, very often labeled ADD, either very empathic and compassionate OR very cold and callous, and are wise beyond their years. Does this sound like yourself or your child?

Except for the part about being adademically or metaphysically gifted this describes 99% of children raised on a steady diet of junk food and junk t.v. which is 99% of children raised in America. As for the "gifted" part, nearly all parents think that their child is gifted no matter how vapid and dim the little abomination actually is. It is a much simpler and far more intellgent explantion than "ooohhhh, the children must be psychic space alien superheroes from another dimension"

Here is the "Test" to see if your child is a pyschic space alien superhero.

    Is Your Child an Indigo?

To find out, ask yourself these questions:

    1. Did your child come into the world acting like royalty?
    2. Does your child have a feeling of deserving to be here?
    3. Does your child have an obvious sense of self?
    4. Does your child have difficulty with discipline and authority?
    5. Does your child refuse to do certain things they are told to do?
    6. Is waiting in lines torture for your child?
    7. Is your child frustrated by ritual-oriented systems that require little creativity?
    8. Does your child see better ways of doing thing at home and at school?
    9. Is your child a nonconformist?
    10. Does your child refuse to respond to guilt trips?
    11. Does your child get bored rather easily with assigned tasks?
    12. Does your child display symptoms of Attention Deficit Disorder?
    13. Is your child particularly creative?
    14. Does your child display intuition?
    15. Does your child have strong empathy for others?
    16. Did your child develop abstract thinking very early?
    17. Is your child very intelligent?
    18. Is your child very talented (may be identified as gifted)?
    19. Does your child seem be a daydreamer?
    20. Does your child have very old, deep, wise looking eyes?

      21. Does your child have spiritual intelligence?
If you have more than 10 yes answers, he or she probably is an Indigo. If more than 15, almost definitely.

Oh yeah, that's really good test. According to this test every single child in the entire history of the planet was an "indigo" since every single parent would answer "yes to at least 15 if not all of these questions. Imagine the conversations that paretns would have over this. "Oh look dear, it says here that if little Johnny doesn't like standing lines then he must be a psychic space alien superhero." "That's right honey, why just the other day I told Johnny to go brush his teeth after dinner and he didn't want to do it, that's prooof positive that you have been cheating on me with E.T." This means that I too am an "indigo" and so is everybody else. Given the state of the world it seems that these indigos have been fucking everything up for all of recorded history. Oh, and here are some more questions that could easily be added to the test.

    22. Does your child need food to live?
    23. Does your child move around at all?
    24. Does your child do things every now and again?
    25. Has your child ever made any kind of noise?

Seriously, this is one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen. We don't need to do anything now to solve any of the massive problems we've created, the psychic space alien superhero babies will save us. Yeah, makes tons of sense. All just another excuse to avoid responsibility.

And I'd say I was like this as a child, and now taking care of a child like this, is insane. I feel very close to the child, because he reminds me of myself, but it's so difficult. I don't know what the question here was though.

Indigo's aren't here to save anyone. They simply are. Those weak minded come pouring to them begging for help, is all.
