Baby bottle pops werent a gay inuendo....... brittany spears wasnt just some knocked up trailer park whore..... Soul train actually had soul........... The country wasnt infected by that government issued disease, what was it called again? AIDS.............. Whoopi Goldberg was funny...... Answering machines were the only way to get messages, unless you had your grandma by your house phone with a note pad and a pencil...........
good music is still being produced by artists with tallent. not in the mainstream maybe, but only in the late 60s and early 70s was the mainstream ever a nonpoluted water source. i remember beepers, before cell phones, when you still had to have at least a ham or cb liscence to use the airwaves. but i remember before the stupid beepers too. hell i remember party line phones. when you'd pick up your receiver and all your neighbors would be talking having a defacto confrence call without having to pay for a special service in order to. almost like this internet except you might actualy run into them and say hi too. i don't remember any president not being influenced to some degree by conscousless economic interests, but i do remember most of them taking into account some sort of real moral responsibility or at least trying to look like they were. mostly i think because capitolism still had socialism to keep it almost honest. i do remember when we had real elections, even if they didn't offer us as much choice as people wanted to believe they did. i loved whoopie goldberg, and goldie hahn too. whatever part of whatever country baby bottle pops were a gay inuendo i must not have been living in cause this is the first i hear of that one. never really noticed brittany, but i remember farrah faucet, and going to high school with someone who looked like her. just about the right number of years before those posters of her started to appear to. in a little small town up in the hills of northern california. =^^= .../\...
I remeber it all especially the one about whoopie.I saw her doing stand up 2 nights ago & it was horribly sad I was surprised because all she was doing was talking politics but with never ending foul language, not the funny kind. The only one I dont remember is gay people getting stoned in public places, pet key chains, and baby bottle pops but the rest of em,I feel you. Peace & Love
Remember when............ there was no toilet paper people threw their waste buckets out second story windows onto the street sod roofs leaked and chunks of dirt might fall into your soup the only heat was a fireplace kids ran around barefoot at school cuz there wasn't enough money for shoes travelling might mean death if you took the wrong turn into Indian territory getting sick meant a housecall and giving up a chicken for payment people weren't in an all fired hurry to get nowhere fast, 40 mph was real fast travelling to the west coast meant days on a stage coach nad a dusty bumpy ride sleeping meant laying down on bug infested piles of straw or worse, rocky ground. people helped each other out with food, hospitality and barn raisings people said howdy to each other instead of staring at each other the best entertainment was someone who could tell a story or play a musical instrument and sing in person a lot more people raised there own food instead of pushing a penceil for a living you had to learn to sew or show a lot more skin than you wanted to the government allowed people to live on their land if they filed a claim and improved it for free when someones word meant something was going to happen when people learned what plants in nature helped one to be healthy when women were homemakers and chopped wood when getting things clean meant getting water when people who smarted off to you had to do in your face in person when respect for the earth meant your life blood peace and joy Honor Seed
