Hey everyone , I been a vegetarian for 3-4 years and now I am becoming a vegan ... Ive done alot of reasearch in the last year or two so I think iam ready. I am making this thread because I was woundering if any vegans had any tips about anything to do with veganism ..... this advice isnt just to help me but also the other beginner vegans aswell. I really would apreciate it ! thanks Peace<3 Katy
Hi there I went fully vegan in January this year. I started off slowly last year by dropping one item out per week. (say milk one week, chocolate the next) this made it so much easier when it came to going fully vegan. If there's anything else you need help with, feel free to pm me or even if you just want some support
Oh yeah moonlight phoenix: You don't have to drop out chocolate altogether, only milk chocolate. ^_^ You probably already knew this but in case you didn't, there you go. To the original poster: The only thing that really helped me when I went vegan was this: Instead of thinking, "I can't eat that anymore," try to think, "I can't eat that." (period]. It makes things so much easier on the brain to not have to conjure up old memories of eating meat or milk chocolate or anything of that sort.
Yeah do it slowly, easier than doing all in one go like I did. Mmmm I love Tangerine Dairy Free Chocolate *drools*. Well that's my input!
Try and look for vegan versions of food you usually eat, like chocolate, so you're not just cutting the dairy etc out, you're just replacing it with something else
