I'm pretty sure there's some kind of a trickster in my house - I don't know what to call it, fairy, fae, brownie, poltergeist, whatever. Stuff keeps disappearing, things I'd use all the time like my contact lens case and my debit card. Other things are also missing, like my favorite necklace and some books.

Does anyone know how I can contact this spirit, find out why they're taking my stuff, and figure out what to do to get my stuff back and get the spirit to leave?

    When there's something strange...
    in your neighborhood...
    Who ya gonna call?
    GHOSTBUSTERS!

Sorry, couldn't resist. Do a google search for spirit mediums or paranormal investigations in your area. May not rid you of the spirit, but will confirm the presence and help you find out why it is doing this. I wouldn't want to be rid of a spirit anyway. Makes life interesting.

clear your head. ask it questions telepathically (aka think at it). it might take a while to get a response, just remain calm, patient, and KEEP YOUR MIND CLEAR. if it doesn't work the first time, keep trying. eventually you'll get a response.

also, I never heard about the dont slam doors thing, but don't slam doors. it's bad for your doors.
