i like passing the collection plate.... i drop in some paper that says "thanks" and slip all the money in my pocket!
a) i am never up at 5 a.m. on Sunday to go to mass b) i am not catholic, so therefore, i do not go to mass
The part where I dont go. lol Dont they usually have a couple throughout the morning? Thats insane having to be there at 5. Most people these days are just going to bed at 5.
This one time I took off my shoes and meditated on the middle of the stage. Security (fait in action folks) removed my ass out to the street
I'm usually out in front after an all night crack binge, waiting for some old lady with a big purse to walk by.
i like the bit before where they ask you to turn off your mobile phones and not to smoke and the bit in the middle where it all sort of stops and you can buy popcorn and ice cream. oh and the praying is good too S
i miss the incense and the wine. our church had a very fine port they used. so good. i'd always manage to get a good gulp down.
you guys laugh, but i did some truly awesome meditation in church. i'd memorized the responses, and going to early services was to create physical and mental discipline to meditate. it was AWESOME. plus, like i said, i god a good warm rush from the wine at the end of the meditation, the "good job" cookie of the christian church. THEN we got to go outside the sanctuary and eat donuts and drink coffee while i got to listen to theologians having deep philisophical discussions that never managed to stay on topic. good times.
oh yeah, and i always got the little chuckle over the Body of Christ getting stuck in my teeth. lol. ah, it's the little things in life that make it worth living.
I like the part when, right before the service starts, I rip a HUGE fart on those wooden pews that amplify it so loud it rattles the windows. Then I listen to all the little kids try to keep from laughing. I also like the look on the guy's face when I drink all the wine left in the cup and ask for another wafer.
I like not going and being good and asleep at 5am on a sunday. Why is it that on the one day gawd set aside a little rest and relaxation, half the world has to wake the poor sod up at 5am to pray a bunch of prayers gawd's already heard 800billion times.
