can I change my name w/out making a new account?

Hey I was looking around and I can't figure out which forum to ask technical questions in? So I'm just throwing it out in this one.

I just wanna change my name from 23F to 24F, cause I'm 24 now. How would I do that?

This thread bekongs under User Support. The answer to your question is essentially no, but you can sign up with you new desired username and it will be treated as a different user.

 

To answer the question, NO. You cannot change your username.
As Bilby said, you can only create a new user, and abandon the old.
It'll remain active for some time. (I'm not sure how long.) But may be deleted as the webmaster cleans up.
All messages do get archived.
