Lip piercing--advice needed

So I'm going to have my lip pierced later this week (along with my nose, for the third time, but that's another story), and I was wondering where my ring should be: on the middle, the left side or the right side.

I'm really considering the right side because the left nostril will be pierced and it will look more "balanced".

Your opinion?

Do you really care what people on a forum think about your lip ring and where it should be placed?

 

Why are you mean to me? I only wanted people who know more than me about piercings to give their opinion.

 

The point is, its YOUR body not ours. You have to live with it, not us. Ask your friends, they know what you look like, whatd look better.

 

I wasnt' being mean. But, really....why would someone who knows more about piercings be better equipped to tell you where to shove a needle through YOUR body?

 

One of my friends done that. It looks really nice but as everyone else has said it's still your choice. I have my lip pierced 3 times. I couldn't decide where abouts i should get the piercing the first time i had it done. Maybe you should get like a little ring or something that will fit over your lip so that you can see what it will look like at different places.

 

well i have the left side of my lip peirced and my right nostril peirced. so opposites look good.

 

I'd say middle looks the best.

 

It all depends on the face realy, some look good on the left, right or middle, but yeah I guess I didn't answer your question realy but meh !!!!

it honestly depends, ive hear'd that when u get it done in the middle your more likely to chip your teeth on it, i'd stick with the right side for the lip....

 

I'm thinking about getting my lip pierced, on the left edge. I can never understand how people are unsure of what they want... I guess I'm lucky.. I always just know I either want it this way or that way.. I don't know how I know, it's just the way I want it, and I never care much what other people say. Oh and "90 paces west", do you use google personalized desktop? I just noticed that your Dr. Suess qoute was the google qoute of the day...

 

I said middle. I have my nose pierced on the left side and a labret in the middle. I think that it looks awesome that way. But that's just me. I mean, yeah, it is all up to you. I have an idea, though. Maybe go buy those sticky rhinestones or body jewlery or whatever they're called, and stick them in all the different positions.

 

i just remembered this, too. Do you have any piercings in the tops of your ears? I have one in mine, and that also "levels" things out.
I kinda think on the side would look funny, but I'm probably just thinking in terms of my own face.

Ive had mine done in the middle of my lip and got it when i was 15. i was at a rebellious stage and it helped me get thru. Now im 17 and i took it out and i always have a lil scar to remind me of it haha it doesn't hurt and if you want to get it to the side you'll look really punky. In the middle is more rock but ITS UP TO YOU!

 

i personally think it looks gross anywhere except on the right side but honestly, it depends on your face. itg doesn't even suit everyone.
