over 30% of the lebanese population are children

over 50% of deaths/casualties inflicted in lebanon today account for children

over 75% of children are not goin to be back in school anytime soon

a 100% of them, are never goin to be the same again!

The smallest of the 31 simple plywood coffins, center, containing one-day-old girl Sawsan Tajeldin

latest : 34 children among a total 56 killed in Qana

while these atrocities continue, america continues to refuse calls for a ceasefire and is responsible for blockade of a UN security council resolution callin for an immediate ceasefire

with an exodus of over 800,000 displaced lebanese and the blockade of air, land and sea and the main crossin point between lebanon and syria bein blocked by more israeli air strikes and more "precision guided" missiles bein fired on cars wavin white flags with women and children tryin to get to safer areas ...and

after two aircraft filled with missiles/weapons bein rushed to tel aviv from america, 2 more 747s are on their way ...

"We will stand with Israel because Israel is standing up for American values as well as Israeli ones." - hillary rodham clinton commentin on the ongoin offensive (very much reflectin the american position)

the america wars in iraq, afghanistan and the ongoin pressure and fingerin of the syrians and iranians ...

5 years after YOU, the americans were brainwashed into askin (confusin) yourself - why the arabs and muslims hated you, your freedom so much ..

..and if israel is indeed standin up for american values ...

do you now feel your question answered ?

Why would we use a 747 to transport weapons? They are not military, they are not rated for weight nor defense so why on earth would we need to use a 747 to transport weapons to anyone? Why are we sending aid to those Isreal is attacking? Why have alredy been rushing air shipments of food and medical supplies to Lebanon.

Oh yes have you the vidoe footage of said inocent safe seeking refugees waving the flags just before the impact of said missles or is this nothing more than BS.

War is hell and Isreal has alwasy been a blood thirsty country when it comes to attack. Look at thier policy on hijacked airlines. The will shoot the entire plan down rather than deal with a terrorist. When they enter a plane they will kill everyone if needed and without a second thought to get to the terrorist. Isreal was not like this back years ago but becuase they were targerted so much in tha past they learned that a zero tolerance attitude warns off attackers and for the most part they have been right.

The Isreali Military are tough as nails, they have no remorse just a directive, they do a job and thats it.

    I do not hate anyone.

I despise what is happening in the Middle East.

I know that fundamentalist Muslims do not hate my country for it's freedoms nor for it's decadence. They hate America for it's support of Israel that is systematically committing acts of genocide against Arab nations. I know this because that is what Osama bin Laden tells us.

I want YOU to know that I do not support my president, I do not support my country's war in the middle east.

I do not want you to bomb my country again because you believe we are "Satan". Our leaders are ignorant and misguided. Enough innocence has been lost.

For the record I am a Sephardic Jew by birth and a Pagan by choice. People who follow blindly are sheep who surely will be led to slaughter. Think for yourself.

I also want to say, that i do not believe that the government is correct in what they are doing. It is appalling what is going on the middle east, and if any hatred for any people it was formed of lies!

I always make the correction to people when they classify any one group be it muslim, jewish, european, etc. I do not believe that people should be grouped in a negitive connotation. First of all, because we are all different...no one muslim is the same as another, just as no american is the same as another. I should hope that someday, more people will find it within themselves to have anger at an organization-- the president and his government, rather than with the people. just as when we were bombed in our country (in any instance,), we should not take it out on innocent people.

I do not understand why our government would provide aid to people who are killing and being violent. I do understand why people are violent in the first place. I pray for everyone there. Everyone who hurts, they are in my thoughts. it is a problem that must be taken on...this lackof compassion and the loss of hearing we have all suffered. It seems everyone is unwilling to just actually listen to one another and try and understand that we all must live together, and just killing or bombing someone should never be an option.

We must all find peace within ourselves as well. And we must make friends when we are given the chance. and i hope that you, stoney69, will consider some if us friends, with no hatred in our hearts, especially for you, and the people of the middle east.
    God Bless.

    Peace and Love

How do you expect the US to call a ceasefire when the crowds in Lebanon burn American flags on the streets?

Very noble, along with the laser guided bombs which you have been rushing to Israel via the UK. As these weapons were intended to be used on a civilian population, it is illegal under UK (and I think international) law to have allowed your guys to have stopped off here with them. Yet again Blair committing more war crimes and getting away with it.

The burning of a piece of cloth is worth the loss of one child's life? Not by me!!!

I hope if you ever lose a child you take that piece of cloth you hold so highly and speak to that dead child and say this is why you died. If they were alive they would spit in your face and say, why wasn't I more important than that?

When you buy into "national" pride you buy into the premise that one life is worth more than another. I will never buy that. You can't sell it to me with all your high priced pr.

National pride is a marketing ploy used by all governments that seek dominance over others. I value life, both human and animal. Don't try to feed me soundbites that tell me the loss of that life is for my own good. I won't buy it.

Again I SHOUT, I sing a song of peace!

Lebanon is a democratic country. Hezbollah has elected members to their parliment. I cry for Lebanon and all the loss. Why is the western world seeking to label members of this government as terrorists? Who's calling for this and why. Why should the Israelis be more justified in defending themselves then another democratic country? Someone outline why one is more important than the other? I ask for reason here. Someone really show me why one cause is more important than the other.

During the shelling and invasion of Lebanon we also lose focus on what's happening with the Palestians in Gaza. Perhaps this is the biggest goal of the Israelis. Lives are being lost there as well.

"[March 16, 2003 Between 16:45 and 17:00], one bulldozer, serial number 949623, began to work near the house of a physician who is a friend of ours ... Rachel sat down in the pathway of the bulldozer ... [It] continued driving forward headed straight for Rachel. When it got so close that it was moving the earth beneath her, she climbed onto the pile of rubble being pushed by the bulldozer. She got so high onto it that she was at eye-level with the cab of the bulldozer ... Despite this, he continued forward, which pulled her legs into the pile of rubble, and pulled her down out of view of the driver ... We ran towards him, and waved our arms and shouted, one activist with the megaphone. But [he] continued forward, until Rachel was underneath the central section of the bulldozer ... Despite the obviousness of her position, the bulldozer began to reverse, without lifting its blade, and drug [sic] the blade over her body again. He continued to reverse until he was on the boarder [sic] strip, about 100 meters away, and left her crushed body in the sand. Three activists ran to her and began administering first-responder medical treatment ... She said, "My back is broken!" but nothing else ..." [6]

But I guess they feel justified in running over non Jewish lives.

Hezbollah has members elected to the parliment of Lebanon not the other way around. Hezbollah has been involved in numerous terrorist actions including the bombing of a marine baracks while the marines were on a peacekeeping mission to help Palestinians that were being killed by Christian Militias. 241 Americans died. They continue to shoot rockets into Israel with no effort made to hit military targets and in fact target civialian populations. So no the Government of Lebanon are not terrorists but some elected members are from a terrorist organization.

They are not. Any country will defend themselves in these conditions. Especially with civialians being killed and soldiers being kidnapped for exchanges. I do not think that Hezbollah fighting to preserve their power is necessarily wrong but delibrately hitting civialian targets and hiding in amongst a legitimate government and civialians to hype up casualties are wrong. An example, the US has fought land wars with Mexico. However, if the Mexicans were saying that Texas was still theres and firing rockets over the border and kidnapping American soldiers, do you think we would put up with it? NO! Sometimes when you lose wars you have to accept it and move on to the betterment of your peoples. Look at Germany and Japan.

Neither side is more important. It would depend on where your interests lie. It always does. There will be people supporting both sides. However, expecting people you have killed in the past to help you stop retaliation for your own terrorist actions against another Country just isn't going to happen.

The bombing on the barracks occurred over 20 years ago, I knew when Cnn started showing that film they would stir up American feelings, but at the time, we didn't go after Lebanon, why now?

Because it increases Israeli sympathies. You have another reason for why it's being brought up right now? Why not the massacre in Qana in 1996.

Calling people terrorists doesn't lead to a solution. It only markets to the lowest denominator.

Soldiers weren't "kidnapped" they were captured. Time to call these guys by their press. You can't have a quote military protected by the fact that they are sanctioned by a government...and call that kidnapping. And then call a military force elected and supported by a democratic country a terrorist force. There are too many things that aren't adding up here. Want to call names and paint pictures than be pure yourselves.
