Big Drug Busts

Here in my area they nailed over 80 people for different levels of drugs in a sweep. Dudes caught with under 5 grams of weed had bail set at $50K, methlabs $500K, oxy $250K and so on.

over 80 people for my little isolated population area is BS but yup it was done and made the paper. Every name of every person arrested and what charge and there bail is listed. Small area so even a traffic ticket gets lots of attention.

28 grams of weed here is a violation and a small fine

 

I don't doubt that people were busted,it happens everywhere.But the bail does not seem likely.

 

I will look for the copy of the Mountain View Standard that held the article and try to scan it. Im supposed to have a load to leave in the morning but if not will get it set up.

two years their was a city wide drug bust at the highschools I think that something like 30 got expelled and like 15 were from my school.lol. I think another 5 got arrested

 

No, but I have never heard of bail that high for so little pot before.

A guy here in town's meth lab caught fire and burned down half of a block. Got off scott-free cuz there "wasn't enough evidence." What a load of shit.

 

$50k? I got caught with 3-4 grams. If they would've set my bail at $50k, I would've been beyond pissed. Even 1/2 a mil for a meth lab seems rather rediculous, IMO. A friend of mine was caught with $2k in cash, no job, 2 lbs of marijuana, and 3 ounces of cocaine. His bail was only $25k.

50k....... they're trying to ass rape people down there.

 

There are numerous meth labs on my street, one of which was my next door naighbor. There was a 'super lab', as the local government labelled it, in the Atlanta area. They uncovered millions of dollars worth of meth and there were many charges brought against the masterminds of the lab and it is considered to be the largest and most dangerous lab in the southeast united states. They even made a documentary on A&E about the meth epedimic is GA. Meth is, by far, the most rampant and dangerous drug in existance, even more dangerous and deadly than crack cocaine due to the fact that many household cleaners are used in it's prduction. Atlanta, and Georgia in general, has come to be known as the main hub of meth production and use in the country. Damn, it took me about 20 minutes to type this post, as I am under the influence of Xanax(alprazolam) and alcohol, at the moment. My mind and motor skills are slightly altered, at the moment.
