how long does anyone suggest i should leave in the rubber bands? a month or so? i guess i'll just have to see how they come along.. but a little advice would be ever so nice. ha. thanks!
i say its up to you really. i only kept my rubberbands in for 2 days and then took them out because i heard it slows the dreading process down. your dreads wont fall out. if your unsure about it then keep them in for a week or two and then take the out. peace~
I left mine in for a month but took them out and they started dreading better, i guess. Peace and love
Take them out now! They'll get your hair all sticky and if you keep them in too long they will fall into your dread and attract dirt and other nasty things.
hey man, i left my rubberbands in for like amonth and a half and they started to melt into my hair, one of them was lost in my hair forever but it was really gross when they melted. i put them back in for a little while bu tjust recently took them out and my dreads are 2 months old. they are doing fine but the tips seem a bit looser. they look better though
