People who cut down trees for no reason. We have a beautiful tree in our backyard, and now I have to wave goodbye, for no good reason. It's the little bit of nature in this cement block of a city, leave it alone. :(

we've got a thoroughly infested aspen in our backyard that is tearing the roofing tiles off our house and banging on my daughter's window and tearing up the foundations of the house. bye bye.

I've always wanted to do logging, but I just never pursued it. I've cut down probably hundreds of trees...... we used to have a wood burner in the shop where I worked

I wasn't actually logging. I was cutting survey lines for a topo.

Yeah. You get that same primitive joy from knocking down a giant cedar tree as you do from blowing something up.

It makes a loud boom and the whole forest shakes.

and if you're lucky, you take out some wildlife with it.

Damn, all this talk about loud booms and shaking forests is really making me look forward to working on Monday. It almost sounds worth the low wage of $8 an hour.

I do not hate those people, I just pity them for thier ignorance, and try to educate them... yet some are just too bloody stupid.

I have no clue. I was just told to be there. It's better than nothing and it's only a temporary position until I find something better. Like I said, it's better than nothing I guess.
