kinky friedman- possible pro marijuana governor-Texas

who else in texas is going to vote in the gubernatorial(sp?) elections? kinky friedman is running on an independent platform and promises to bring an end to medical marijuana prohibition in texas. i think he is also for decriminalization for adults.
though he doesn't say it "officially" on his website, he's promised to interviewers multiple times. kinky has a decent chance of winning against the incumbent rick perry, but needs more support. he is also in favor of willie nelson's biofuel campaign and wants to incorporate more vegetable fuel alternatives into the system; this may result in a pro-hemp for fuel movement. anyways, check his website out if you are in texas.
this is the closest avenue for change in texas at the moment. raise awareness for medical and recreational use of cannabis
