Depends what you think mediation is. I'd say meditation is trying to discover yourself. In that sense, your whole life will be mediation. There are lots of guides of meditation you can find. I googled 'meditation' and found http://www.learningmeditation.com/ http://www.meditationcenter.com/ http://www.tm.org/ For you specifically, nobody can tell you. You'll have to find it out for yourself. My advice is find something you which makes you really enjoy doing, and to devote yourself to it. Everyone alive is trying to find themselves, so don't believe what works for other people will work for you. Meditation is findindg yourself. 'Luck.
meditation comes in hundreds of flavours. best deffinician i've ever heard is stilling your inner dialog. lots and lots of resources on line. check out ananda's site. i don't have the link handy. but i think he's got a bunch of links from there too. =^^= .../\...
Tai chi is my recommendation for the way to go. Movement keeps the mind focused and uncluttered. Plus it gets the blood flowing much more easily.
Can you learn Tai Chi online or do you need instructional videos and stuff? Or can I find a book at a library or something.
I never could accomplish it, tried various methods...People have tried hypnotism on me before to...Nope, can't be put under either, for some odd reason. :/
Neither.... only way to truly learn is from a reputable instructor / school. I wouldn't discourage reading up on the art or even buying a video or two, but, you really can't grasp the mental and physical nature of the art without thorough training and guidance.
