Me and my mates all hang out down the abbey in the summer because it's a really scenic pretty place and also it gives us someonewhere to go that's outdoors..(can't get into pubs yet cus only 17) but the problem is we get hassle of chavs who come over threten us with knives get us all down on the floor and take anything that we have on us away!!! we can't stand up to them because they have knives and hammers, and do use them weve all seen it happen!! The police are shit and it takes about a week to get anywhere making a statement and if we do we get the rest of "saky kru" after us, ive had bricks though my window..they used to wait outside for me and i got beaten up by 5 guys with a crow-bar. it's why we moved into the middle of nowhere. i'm a very peaceful person, i would never hurt anyone and never done anything to bring anything that has happened to me on! Has anyone else had this problem and if so, what have you done!!? obviously we could all stop going down there but then where's our freedom? There is nowhere else to go last year someone got their skull smashed in by a chav with a hammer, unprovoked and evrything, but they don't even report it in the media!! i just don't know what to do, i can see someone getting killed! is it like this all overthe uk...or is it jus scummy abindon lol! i don't know weather i posted this in the right place but i could really do with some advice mazzie
hmm well i live in north wales and theres even chav problems here. It varies alot from town to town. in my town, its not so bad, you see the occasionaly mini chav who dont bother any one. the next town on is fine. but the next town on after that is terrible. there are a few other bad spots in the area. ive been in my fair share of fights with chavs, and constantly have 'gothic' 'get a haricut' etc. shouted at me.... There seems to be a lot of propaganda and media cover up. The media has displayed chavs as a bit of a gimmic.. something funny, though looks dangerous, isnt - ofcourse this is further from the truth. there was even a show on sky one 'chavs' praising them. It seems 90% of chavs dont realise that under the clothes, hair, and attitudes we are all people. www.chavscum.co.uk
Shit you've got it bad. I thought they were bad around here but damn. Argh i can't think of any advice. Somehow get a mate to film it next time or something. I dunno. If they spit on the floor, collect it and hand it into the police and force them to do a DNA search or something. Mate seriously legal action seems the only way. God i wish they'd just fuck off. Me and my mates haven't ever said a bad word to their face or done anything threatening so why do they always start fucking fights

uurgh got started on by a load of chavs last night. me and a mate went into the spar, came out and the chavs were all around waiting for us. we started walking off, but they started following us, we tried doubling back on our selves in a hope to lose them, but they caught up with us. They surrounded me so my m8 couldnt help, there was like 10-15 of them. 3 lads, all taller than me started pushing me and wanting to nick everything from my pockets. luckily there was one failry sound empathising one in the group and some how i managed to sweet talk my way out. what a rush
Short term, aboid those places. Long term, build up the socilaist movement, overthrow the ruling class, develop a classless society, and bang, the chav problem is gone.
We do have a hideous yob culture I'm afraid. The destruction of the education system by the socialists has given rise to it. Now a majority of our youth are uneducated and only know how to behave like savages.
I'm an American, so I handle my problems. But I recomend you avoid the areas and hold your police to acount.
um, what socialists are these? as since when did the socialists get any form of power in the UK (other than the labour liverpool council for a wee bit in the 70's i think)
