I am quite clumsy with my hands and I have zero experience with gardening and I'm looking to grow a small crop, see if I can save some money that way. I have a walk-in closet I can use. It's 10 ft long, 8 ft tall and 3 ft wide though some of it won't be available. I would like to get a crop as fast as possible and as easily as possible. I'd like a crop that would yield me at least 2 Oz every 3 months. Initially, I'd like to plant enough plants to ensure I have at least 2-3 female plants. what does that mean for me? I have no clue as to what equipment I need, how hard it is to use, how much it cost and how to use it so I could use some info on that. I'd also like to know what kind of seeds to buy and where to order them. I am not exactly a conossoir of turnips. Any suggestions? And of course, I could use guides on the subject as well. Nothing too deep, just enough to grow my delicious turnips. Any URLs? A summary of costs (lighting, electricity bill, pots, nutrients, seeds, etc.) for such an operation. Any number crunchers volunteer? General miscellaneous advice would also be appreciated. Thank you for your time, Gozu
Growing mj isn't as hard as some try make it. Start with the faqs here and another is; 1stmarijuana.com, I think they have 57 some odd grow guides.
I dissagree I think growing is a science and a skill that takes time and effort. Basics are 400-600w HPS Timers ventilation (fresh air exchaing in the room) and a good book. Indoor Marijuana Horticulture By Jorge Cervantes. If it wasnt for this book I would be way behind. If you just want to fuck around (experiment) use collected seeds from something you buy. and its about a 50/50 ratio male to female and know your males. READ THE BOOK!!!!!
I'm sorry we disagree! The thing is we're dealing with newbys here, who've possibly never gotten their hands dirty before, and now wish to try their hand at green thumbing. If we make it too complicated they'll never enjoy the benefits of having a green thumb. Later they may learn tricks of the trade. This is why I K.I.S.S. it when newbys ask advice. Myself; 1kw HPS @ 240v, 5.5x5.5 room all foxfarm soil and nutes as directed. check out my gallery if you think this is too simple. Got 28oz. from 7plants 3ft. tall last grow
