unfortunately not =/

i made the discovery the other day
that i pick up accents REALLY easily
when i was around english ppl, i talked like them
but when i was at school [with all americans]
my english accent got toned down a lot
and now that i am in georgia.. i hate to say it,
but i am starting to sound slightly southern

 

if i watch My Fair Lady alone, I talk with a British accent after the movie is over, so like 10 min not intentionally, of course.
but i dont pick up on accents well. i just sound like a little girl from california. i mean, i actually sound ...5. when i was living in australia for 3 weeks, the only thing i picked up was saying "mum" instead of "mom", which was odd since i dont think i heard that word there at all...

i can do a surfer accent or a valley girl accent well

 

yeah i call my mother "mum" .. its a british thing.
i still call things british terms too.
like i call cookies "biscuits"
and i'll say im goin to the loo
and gettin drunk is gettin pissed
and just random shit like that..

 

hmm, moving in (2 days) now should be quite interesting
my car broke down last night as i was driving home
it died, so power steering and everything cut off
i had to pull into a church
i popped the hood to see if i could see what happened, though it was dark, a vain attempt
when i got back into my car
i looked at the church's sign that i had pulled right in front of
it read:
"God is Good All the Time"

I blew a head gasket in mine.

i'm thinkin' it's oil related, but i know i tightened my drain plug as tight as it would go

and my step dad put on my filter, i would only assume that he put it on right

speakin' of which, in general, fuck japanese cars and where they put oil filters
