How is everyone doing? It's been a little bit since I have talked to ya'll. (I learned country lingo). I am doing great, except the gas prices are killing me. School is going good, of all the tests I have taken lately the lowest score I have gotten is a 98%. I hope all is going well for everyone, I have been keeping myself pretty busy. Glad to hear that you're all doing well in your new home and that you're doing so fantastic with your school work! What's little Skye up to these days? Any new milestones?
He has all kinds of new milestones. He points at the things he wants, he takes steps without holding onto things, he says mama pretty clearly, and says ba ba, but I don't know if he is calling for papa or if he is call for the dog "bongo". It may be a bit of both. Speaking of the dog, Skye and him play fetch together, granted Skye doesn't throw the ball very far, and usually just likes to hand it to the dog, but it is so cute. He also thinks that mama boob is base, and whenever I chase him around, he climbs up on mama and tries to get to the boob before I get him. Yesterday he was standing in the doorway of his room, behind the door. He would step into sight, and I would say "peek-a-boo", then he would giggle and hide behind the door again, Then I would do the whole "Where's Skye?" bit, and he would pop out again. The roles used to be reversed, where I would hide and he'd come find me. It's fun. He likes to bounce on the trampoline with me also. He crawls around on it and I just make slight bounces, but he just laughs and laughs. He also likes to feed us. We give him cherios or something like that, and he will pick them up one at a time with his pointer finger and thumb, eat one, pick up another and then feed it to mama or I. He is getting so big and smart, it's hard to believe that he will be a year old in another month! I will post some pics of him in the parenting forum in a little bit for you.
