I used to smoke every day. Then a few weeks ago i decided to stop cold turkey for 4 days. After 4 days off, i smoked and i got really high. The next few days i was stoned out of mind and out of it. Then, my dealer left for a few days so I had to go to a different guy and that's when i noticed i haven't been getting really high since that happened. Do you guys think it could be the that this other dealer has a different type of weed? Because I never heard of anyone going from being blizted one day to feeling absolutely nothing the next few days! My dealer's been gone since last friday and it really feels like i haven't smoked in days. My mind feels more fresh and I feel more awake. How can this be? The only other explanation is that I wasn't inhaling it right, because I did read somewhere that some people think they are getting into their lungs, but it's really staying at the back of their throat. How is this even possible? Is it even true? What do you guys think the problem is?
It is possible that they could have different weed. If you're inhaling wrong that's very odd because if you smoke anything you should know how to inhale into your lungs or just stop it. I had my first ciggerette at 18 because I was inhaling in my mout cigar style. All in all, It's most likely a different weed issue
I've also heard this reasoning: When I smoke from my normal dealer I get sort of a trancelike "in the zone" sort of thing where i am in awe of everything. But when I switched dealers I no longer had that feeling in my head but I noticed I was feeling nice and calm though. I just wasn't in awe of eveyrthing or zoning out. Can different weed give you different types of highs? Or do you guys think it is possible I could have too high tolerance? Because i smoked 4 blunts today with my friends and I'm feeling fine right now. It doesn't even feel like I smoked today. I really hope it's the weed because I don't wanna stop smoking.
It almost sounds like you switched from sativa to indica, but I'm definately not the person to ask... took this from a website which it won't let me paste from... Marijuana comes in two basic types - sativa and indica. Which type you choose will determine the effects you feel. Each type has its own distinct set of charasteristics. Sativas are known for their height and their leggy, often sparse, leaves. Sativas can be anywhere from tall and round like a massive bush, to lean and spindly with a few large colas. The leaves - a trademark of the sativa strain - are long and thin. The odor varies with the particular strain that is growing. The sativa high is often characterized as uplifting and energetic. The effects of a sativa marijuana are mostly cerebral. They give a feeling of optimism and well - being, as well as providing a good measure of pain relief for certain symptoms. A few pure sativas are also very high in THC content. They are known to have a quite spacey, or hallucinogenic, effect. Sativas are a good choice for daytime smoking. Indicas are known for their smaller stature. They are relatively short and bushy. Some are compact, others are of a more moderate height. Indicas tend to grow wider and rounder than sativas. Many look like small shrubs. Indicas typically grow out many more smaller side colas. The indica highs are most often described as a pleasant body buzz. Indicas are great for relaxation, stress relief, and for an overall sense of calm and serenity. Marijuana indicas are also very effective for overall body pain relief, and often used in the treatment of insomnia. They are the late - evening choice of many smokers as an all - night sleep aid. A few pure indica strains are very potent in THC, and will cause the "couchlock" effect, enabling the smoker to simply sit still and enjoy the experience of the smoke. Marijuana strains are available in the entire spectrum from pure sativas to pure indicas, and in every combination in - between. There are 30% sativa - 70% indica strains, there are 80% sativa - 20% indica strains, and many, many 50% - 50% combinations, as well as others. It takes some time and a lot of experimentation to find the most effective balance for each person, but one thing is for sure - there is a marijuana strain available somewhere that would please any smoker.
I smoked again last night and this is what happened. I described it to my friend that it feels like the high is starting to come on but it doesn't fully kick in. He was like yeah you just gotta stop smoking for 3 or 4 days cause your tolerance is too high right now. He said he knows the same feeling and everyone gets that eventually aftr smoking way too much. Anyone else?
I had that happen when my hookup decided to "explain" the difference between Sativa and Indica. Indica flips Sativa inside out.
