What is this in my living room? (pictures)

I just noticed these things in some pictures I took of my place for someone who wanted to see a cool "hippie house" or rooms or whatever...this is the only picture with them in it. anyone know what it could be?

 

I found another one, only much smaller:

 

A small spherical field of energy created by a conscious entity which refracts the light that is reflected from the walls behind them.

Just a guess…

 

its probably just lights reflecting form a flash bulb.or something in the paper.or an evil entity come to harrass and scare the living crap out of you.or angelic beings wanting to get their picture taken but cant becaise then theyd have ot appear solid so they emit a little burst of lite as u take the picture.anyways,whatever it is its strange,eh?

 

its jus light that reflected in the lens, my dad always explained that to me that when Id mention those about ghosts n stuff.

ok. not "lensflares" as such litteraly, but quite natural optical effects.
i've noticed in one of the pictures there are translucent objects in at least one window.

dollars to doughnuts, move them and your unidendified optical effects will chainge or dissappear. light also of course, bounces off of multiple reflective surfaces.

of course they still could be photonic life forms. but i somehow doubt it.

nontangable beings do exist, but seldom if ever manifest outside of our hearts and minds.

Maybe they are just reflections, or an anomoly of the lens or something of that sort... But maybe angels put them there to remind you to think of them.

 

back in the 50s there was this show on television called science fiction theatre or something like that. this was way before star trek or anything like that. anyway there was this one eppisode where some guy reproduced the conditions on mars (remember this was before sputnik even) in some kind of big glass jar. and anyway a bunch of things that looked like that were seen inside of it the next morning. the day after that they got out and were all over the place (it took THEM a whole day to figgure out the could pass through glass?)

i don't know how exactly they produced the effect but it must have been something pretty common and simple considering what was available back then, so i'm guessing however they did it is what we're seeing there too.

i was maybe four or five years old, and i sort of fell in love with the idea of them, although they were maybe supposed to be a little scarry or something too.

Sometimes these are refered to as "Orbs" by people in the paranormal spheres. I have mixed feelings, based on science and personal experience, concerning Orbs as sentiente beings or as the manifestations of Ghosts.

It sounds weird, as I am a pretty scientific person, but I have lived in a haunted house as a child. I can sense things like "Ghosts" often, and I have taken photos of "Orbs" in places where there was NO paranormal activity at all, that I or anyone else could tell. Then again, I've caught them in places where there WAS paranormal activity (I am about to post about a Haunted House in Haight Ashbury, where I caught not only Orbs but a face in a window of an apartment that was believed to be haunted and that in which no one was supposed to be home that day.)

Anyway, here's the lowdown on Orbs. It's one of the best articles I've seen and it links to two other articles, one in favor of Orbs as paranormal, one which has natural explainations for Orbs.

One more thing, we almost never see orbs on FILM, they have only become common since the invention and common use of the dig camera.

oh yeah i totally know ghosts are real. I've had a few encounters and my boyfriend's had many. he has more of a link to those kinds of things and i think it's because when he was young his appendix burst and his parents didn't do anything about it, they thought he was just really sick, until he fell unconscious to the floor and because of the lack of immediate action, he died for a few seconds on the way to the hospital. he knows things that I can only catch a glimpse of

I saw a documentary once in which a man who worked professionally with photos couldn't explain 'orbs' and he didn't seem to believe anything either way. I don't see why it shouldn't be possible that cameras can capture that kind of energy but I'm not 100% convinced of anything. Yet.

 

I'd agree, it's either dust or an orb.

 

Dust. I've seen recreations of "orbs" all over the place, using dust and other fine particles in the air.

 

99% of orbs in pictures and videos are nothing but dust, bugs, and moisture.

Orbs ARE NOT considered legitimate proof of paranormal activity. As a matter-of-fact, if you take your orb pictures to any investigators, they'd laugh.
