how do you pronounce your name? is it Yah-Lay-Nah or Yah-Lay-Nyah? I am gonna write it in Ukrainian Cyrillic
I thought it was something like: yay-lay-nahh... I know a girl from the ukraine and you say her name like that. so...yeah. but hey, jelena should answer this one ofcourse
haha yeah that is true. I knwo a ukrainian gilr i work with who's name is lyudmyla (lyuda for short) or somethign like that and i piss her off by calling her "looda" is is fun
Hahahahaaaaaa yeahhhhhhh I know a girl I call 'Looda' too omg!!!!!!!!! I also know a leonide, (lay-ohh-need) thats a russian name, I LOVE that name!!!
Aaaah yes I now it I've heard oh yeah! And I'm gonna prove it!!! When I'm at my dads, I could call you!!! And I will say you're name, oh hell yeah!
Well a lot of the languages in the area are based off of Old Church Slavonic, so russian, polish, ukrainian, czech, etc are all kinda close.
Old Church Slavonic as u name it mu way old slavonic is whriten by two brothers Chiril (i think its readed in eng) and Methody those tho dudes are born in Solun-Tesaloniki as the greeks now call it wich was macedonian teritory till like 1913 or somn so they are quite macedonian and they are amongst the bigest holy dudes here
ahhhhh!!! stop it!!! it reminds me of my linguistics teacher! lol as you know it's the same thing in serbia... well... it looks nice trevor, but i dont think it's right. instead of the first letter try just E. and... damn, it would be much better if you could hear me pronouncing it.
This isn't nearly as pretty, but I think it is more right. Although I do think it needs a soft accent, but whatever. Is that even cose in Serbian?
I thought it was Jell-ay-nuh. Cause I didn't know where you lived for the longest some so I never really considered the soft J. ahah that reminds me of Anchorman. "I believe its pronounced "jaw-ging"... perhaps "yogging" with a soft J... I'm not really sure... anyhow, apparently you just run.. for an extended period of time. "
