Terrorists at Heathrow?

Was it fear tactics in Britain used to test out the new homeland security system, or do you think there was really a terrorist threat?

I have my doubts... It all seemed to happen way too fast for its own good, and it just seems like the government is throwing alot of useless information at the media.

Plus... no liquids aboard planes unless they are tested? That's silly and fairy rediculous. How about passanger rights? Does this mean I cannot bring my laptop on 10 hour flights I frequently take?

Why is it that people tend to believe everything that is said about 'far-away' places, but never when it comes closer to home?

It's just another PR scam to instill the needed fear in people so they will accept being treated like slaves in their own country, while attempting to boost support for the fraudulent War on Terror. I believe the current situation over in the Middle East has something to do with it as well.

The thing is, these phony terror busts are almost always exposed for what they really are within days: a crock. It's just like that bust from a few months ago involving those so-called terrorists (who were really nothing more than a bunch of psychotic idiots) living in that warehouse. It was hyped for days by the media as being something it wasn't, until it became a laughing stock.

None of this has to do with Islamic terrorism. It has everything to do with psychological terrorism being waged by the western intelligence agencies to scare the masses into a reactionary groupthink mentality suitable for fulfilling their agenda.

I actually hope that you are right. It is disturbing to see how blindly the global population is accepting this "terrorist threat" without any questions or evidence.

HOW? What evidence have you seen that makes you believe that?

 

My question is:
They caught the bad guys. The world is safer today than it was yesterday. So why did they RAISE the alert level after the arrests?

Why did Gov. Gropenator send extra CHP out to protect the bridges?

 

More likely they arrested some undesirables and fabricated a useful coverstory to justify the arrests and further pre-planned introduction of even more repressive regulations to cow the public.

The entire WoT has been a fraud of avowed adherents to Straussian ideology (it is right and necessary to lie to the public) since the very start. The perpetuation of this fraud has now taken on an economic life of its own and the hordes of companies both big and small lining up to get a slice of the "security" pie is staggering. No better way to reinforce a fraudulent status quo and manipulate the public psyche into deeming any demand for concrete proof of "official" claims to "conspiracy theory".

This fact can be seen in most posts on any related aspect of the WoT.

Like sheep willingly led to their own slaughter.

 

I also wonder if the new "no liquid on planes" restricitons are the Bush administration's way of telling the airlines that their campaign cheque bounced.

 

what makes everything you believe that happened true? I'd give you more credit if you gave me some unbiased information on the event from other sources besides infowars and a site called "prison planet" how am i supposed to take it seriously?

i was surely skeptical about the whole event, and that it all could have easily been setup, it probably was...im just playin devils advocate here..

 

Well, it will probably be a few days before the hard evidence starts to come out. Those articles I posted were really just op-ed pieces. I didn't post them to prove anything, I just thought they brought up some good points that should be taken into consideration before people blindly swallow everything the media tells them.

 

Expect more terrorism until election day in november. then it will calm down. so dont worry, its just republicans trying to scare the masses.

 

the whole terrorism story is junk

people have been fed so much junk, one part of the poulation won't eat from this plate anymore whilst the other part still lap it up. anyone who still uses their brains will see this as just another show trial. personally i believe very little of what i read from the government these days.

 

I don't see why the hell the story can't be for real. Its just necessary to read between the lines and notice where they have blown the entire thing out of proportion. Anti-terror teams were watching these people 24/7 and were only waiting for their chance to strike. The terror cell operated horribly unproffessionally, had huge wafts of unaccounted for money lying around and were basically taken down immediately before they could even begin their plan.

They had big intentions, but they weren't much of a threat. We weren't "hours away from mass death" as the newspapers like to say.

Interestingly, every customer that came into my shop yesterday that asked "Whats in the paper today" received the unenthusiastic reply "Oh, just terrorism, again", and i don't think one of them didn't share my extreme boredom at the prospect.

 

Yea, and take some more of our freedoms away, what few we've got left.

 

Its still legal to do the nasty.

 

Unless you live in the wrong state or are in the military and she is married. Or she is a "he". Or you put the wrong thing in the wrong hole in the wrong state. Or you tip her for it or......

 

actually as the story is starting to unfold, it now seems that they have no hard evidence, no explosives have been found. these people meant to boarding aircraft IMMINANTLY are now actually found to have no passport OR aircraft tickets. as i said before . this story is junk. start getting to the idea that you are being fed junk. the british have a bad track record for accusing and locking away people for being terrorists. the "guildford four" were people locked away for being terrorists. the evidence? they decided that as they had used plain old soap to wash their hands they had handled explosives. you are being lied to.

 

It was just reported on the Today show this morning that the UK wasn't ready to make the arrests when they did, but were pressured to do it NOW, by the US. Who's running the show, I think it's obvious.
