I was hiking in the mountains the other day and I met some Christians and they were so nice! They gave me some ice cream and dropped ice cubes down my back... but it was okay, because it was a hot day. Then the invited me to their campout and I went on their bus and they gave me food and were really generally nice to me in every way! Then they sang all night long and played drums and keyboards on their stage in the woods... it was really really really nice!
That's like saying.. Europeans are nice! Cubans are nice! Huge generalization there, but good story I guess.
Yeah, I was going to say thae same thing. It may have just been a coincidence that they were Christian, but it is still a good story.
Yes, people are nice. And Christians can be nice just like everyone else. Like Burby here. He's an outstanding Christian fella. I have met several good Christians like him. *claps*
theres too many people that think that all christians are good, or in order to be good you must be christian. Many people will tell me that because I am an athiest it is impossible for me to be a good person and that I am completely devoid of good morals. I'm not speaking of anyone i have met here really...just expressing a tiny bit of frustration towards how some (most born again) christians have reacted towards athiest beliefs (or lack of them). Anyone else get the same?

While this is at least smarter than 2Pac's dope leaf (*why* is pot-smoking lionized like this?) it's unfortunately not true. There's no such person as Roger Ramjet, but I've seen him walk and talk on TV - like religion, he's a human creation. Spirituality is much more appealing than religion.

Of course many people call themselves Christians and are not nice. The peple you describe seem like the kind of disciples that Jesus intended to have. Yes indeed, such people will certainly be nice, no bout adoubt it.
I think that smokingdude has, perhaps, smoked a bit too much as of late. Not to harsh on smoking the reefer, but it is possible to go too far.
