since they started to flower, they started to smell a little. thats when they got ate! the lower branches that is...rest of the plants, the top 3/4s are perfect. my fence was not buried and the rabbits or whatever??? could sneak under. ate as high as they could reach.

i buried the bottom 4 inches of fence two days ago, and they are digging at the bottom of the fence now!! Havent gotton through but they are trying like hell!

question is this: should i leave thoes mangled lower branches on (still a few leaves and a couple preflowers there), or snip them off? are the branches taking away from bud production??

    thanks!

    Rodents that burrow are tough.
Feed your dogs lots of meat, and put his shit all along the inside and outside of the fence.
And if possible, spend time out there with your dog, especially at dawn and dusk, when rodents are most active. Smoke a j, kick back and play guitar/i-pod. If you must, bring a pellet gun but only shoot the animals that breach the fence. If so, leave them on the outside of the fence to rot.
Piss on the fence and encourage your pooch to do the same.
If you can afford it, buy catch-and-release rodents traps. Capture the critters and let them go a few miles away.
Leave nothing else that would attract animals, not gum wrappers, no water, nothing except the plant and nutrients and maybe an empty water carrier. I used to mix up nutrients/water out in the garden. But there would usually be some left over and water attracts animals like crazy. So now I dose water in my house and carry it out to the garden in 1 gal. containers, 4 at a time. My 20 plants require 4 trips/day.

I am anti-killing animals to grow pot. They belong out there. Every species plays an important part in the circle of life. Kill rodents and next year you'll be overgrown with weeds & brush (rodents eat seeds). And there well be fewer owls, hawks, eagles, coyotes, puma's, bobcats, and snakes, things that eat rodents. With fewer rodents some of these animals will starve, the ones that survive will produce less young.
And that means more rodents, LOTS more.

About 20 years ago, the dim-witted govenor of Alaska figures he could attract more caribou hunters by killing wolves, since wolves kill/eat caribou.
So he spent hundred's of thousands of $$ to hire hunters, both on foot and helicopters, to kill wolves.
However, wolves only kill weak caribou. It's called thinning the herd. This is good, it keeps the gene pool strong. The wolves don't take down the strong, breeding caribou. The weak and deseized caribou are removed from the herd; more food for the strong caribou.
95% of a wolves diet are rodents. Less wolves meant more rodents. And what do rodents eat? Seeds. And what to seed become? Plants. And what do caribou eat? Plants.
Therefore, fewer wolves meant LESS caribou. With fewer wolves the rodent popuation exploded, they ate tons of seed that normally would grow plants that caribou eat. Many caribou starved to death.

Be kind to nature and she will reward you with massive quantities of The Kind.
