but for me its straight liquor or nothing...i mix the coolers and sweet shit and i end up sick the next day...

thats easily avoidable - just drink with people who know how you are when absolutely shitfaced. i only get ridiculously shitfaced with one person because i trust him to do what is necessary to help me out if i drink way too much and the possibility of alcohol poisoning might happen...

Also, as I mentioned earlier, Hefervisen(sp?) is the way to go. Throw a lemon wedge in there, and it's perfect.

theres some good hefeweizen's out there. i don't do the lemon though, it takes away from the beer.

hefeweizen? That's how it's spelled. Being german, that makes sense. Can't say as I agree that it takes away from the beer. I think it really enhances it and gives it that special something.
