The reason for invading North Korea is the same reason the US has for invading Iraq, Iran, Syria, Venezuela, etc.. If you put the cover story aside that is sold to the ignorant masses through the media, it's really all about taking control over the countries not under control of the Global Elite and their fiat money system. The goal of the globalists is to homogenize the world and control every man, women and child on it. It's not about stopping terrorism or bringing freedom to anyone. That's only the excuse that's used to take over these countries while murdering hundreds of thousands of innocent human beings in the name of "freedom" and "democracy". ANYONE who knows ANYTHING about what really happened on 9/11 knows the War on Terror is nothing but BULLSHIT!

Anyone who thinks their government represents them and their well-being (let alone the well-being of foreign nations they attack and invade) is a fucking fool. It's that simple.

Its not a conspiracy theory. Its common sense.

Edit: I wasn't talking about 9/11. I was talking about just how our government acts in general.

Actually what is happening is just the opposite. The US government has no intentions of invading North Korea. When a country aquires nuclear weapons, the rest of the world starts treating them differently. Contrast the treatment Iraq got with North Korea. Iraq had no nuclear weapons, they got invaded. North Korea has nuclear weapons, they got multilateral talks. It does not take a genius to figure out why Iran wants a nuclear program.

A war with North Korea just isn't an option.

Nobody in the pentagon would be stupid enough to try an invasion of North Korea. I mean, they can be dumb, but theres no benifit, only huge costs on all sides.

I posted something a bit more in depth here about this, if you want I'll dig it up.

    But the reasons are:

    1. South Korea, would be the clear loser in any war with North Korea. Massive floods of millions of refugees, likely to be the bigest refugee crisis in South Korea in recent history.

    2. South Korea is an ally, and while Japan could not be dealt much damage by North Korea, South Korea has many thousands of missiles pointed at it, and North Korea likely has nuclear capacity, and could possibly nuke South Korea.

    3. Ground war wouldn't be possible. An invasion would force China to get involved on North Koreas side. We couldn't beat the Chinese and North Koreans years ago. Chinas military now is nothing like what it was in the 50's. While China isn't really a super power because of limited technological capacity, and can't extend to far beyond their own border, theres no way a war could take place in Korea without infantry. Infantry vs infantry, China has more troops then the US, and our technological superiority wouldn't win the war. We could take Millions of soldiers out with us in an infantry battle with North Korea and China, but we could never win.

    4. Even more apocalyptic, if South Korea got nuked, the US would likely strike back and then we might get caugt up in nuclear war with China. We could win that battle, but not without at least a few dozen nuclear weapons hitting the US. Millions of dead Americans, I don't even want to consider the number of dead Chinese, and if Russia got involved, not much of a northern hemisphere left.

The nukes might never hit south korea, but if they did, it would likely progress into a nuclear war between the US and China. This isn't a bizare alternate future kind of thing, it would be likely in the event of a war with North Korea.

I don't see anyone wanting to go down as the idiot who started world war 3. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'd think the pentagon is able to calculate risk/reward at a basic level.

You guys never heard of the failed Korean "conflict"/war. My dad fought in it. All the Bush administration wants to do with North Korea is warn them to not tangle with China. After all the Nike plant is there. Bush and his administration are smart enough to know that to take on Korea right now would be a bigger failure than Iraq.

Are you sure some people wouldn't like to see nukes go off? If they took as much control as they did from 9/11, what do you think they could sieze after a nuke goes off?

and Questing400- I'd like to know which liberal media you are talking about and if you could please cite a few stories for my poor ignorant brain it would be appreciated.

Don't put yourself down like that. Now that you have admitted the problem, you can get on the road to recovery.

This thread is about Korea isn't it ?

I feel sorry for the people of North Korea, they deserve better.

But who wants to get involved, really, South Korea is employing a Sunshine policy toward The North. Let S. Korea have its policy, we should get out of the way and bring our troops home.

    N. Korea's leader is an odd fish. Clearly its an illigitimate goverment.

It would be nice to see the Kores's unite in the same way that the two Germanies were re-united.

. As if having it in your constitution would somehow negate 350 years worth of Westphalian law.
