Ive had my dreads for over a year and ive noticed my dreads arnt even that tight. i think its because i didnt backcomb them tight enough before. Now the middle of my dreads are knotted, its the hair outside the dread thats not knotting up. I wanna know how to get that hair to start going into the dread. U can say palm roll until ur hands start on fire, but it wouldnt help much because i do it all the time and im constantly playing with my hair anyways haha.
why wont this hair dread?!?!!?! Im ganna guess most of u are going to say, patience, just wait it will dread eventually. and thats alright, its just taken forever for these babies to get solid. only by the roots is it getting there.
i mean im in no rush i just wanted to know what i could do to help em get out a little.
    thanks!!!!! peace*love*knottyness

ok well my dreads are like a year and a half and i no where you are coming from mine did the same thing but yes just kinda keep doing what you have been doing and they start to get cought in there or if you want a faster way you cant get a needle and get some one to thread your hairs that are not in the dread just kinda chilling there in to the middle pulling the needle though the middle of the dread till the hair you just kinda put though the eye of the needle slides off leving it in the middle of the dread it workes but takes a long time my girl frend spent like 3 hours one day doing it and some of the shorter ones pop back out o you need a needle with big hole bit makes geting the hairs in easer good luck
    peace
