Are there any places or situations you haven't been barefoot to but that you'd really like to or plan to go?

I would like to try a shopping mall, all that smooth cool tile would make a wonderful barefoot expereince.

It can be done! I do it some. Haven't had a problem yet. Certain stores may be a problem but so far, not the whole mall itself.

Several people here have spoken about how nice the cool tile floors feel in the summer. I find that to be true.

There were more than a few trails in New Zealand that I would've loved to have hiked barefoot - but it was winter when I was there, so unfortunately, save one or two, it was to cold to go barefoot.

I love walking in the woods behind our house in the fall. :)

If there's one place I won't go barefoot in, its in a truck stop bathroom -shudders-

I go in Walmart occasionally and walk barefoot. I'll pull my pants over my feet so that whoever is standing at the front door doesn't tell me I have to put some shoes on. There's been a few incidences when I've told whoever at the front door that I'm coming to buy shoes, and I'll scuttle to the shoe department and grab a pair of shoes just in case someone says something to me.

Personally I enjoy going round my friends house like it, and school as well, because then I get people looking at my barefeet, and I like it when people look and make remarks. I usually get compliments! :)

I recently went on a trip to D.C. with my son's 5th grade class. It rained the whole time and my Tevas were soaked. I actually barefooted the Capitol building. No one noticed. From then on, I was BF everywhere, even Mount Vernon.

I was in our local mall this week. They recently completed a remodel and had carpet along the main aisles bordered by tile. I was all over that mall and no one said anything. I intend to BF Best Buy, Circuit City, and Sears today.

to the airport for my holidays.Airlines usuallly say no bare feet and insist on some kind of footwear but I've always got away with it. Also makes my laugh when even those wearing flip-flops have to take 'em off for the security checks, may as well go the whole hog barefoot :)

i'd love to be in a place where i could go barefoot 24/7. that being said, i think it would be cool to work up the courage to go barefoot to my college classes. I have been barefoot on campus (at night) but i have never arrived at campus barefoot before.
