Ok as a bong construction expert, I'm going to make some modifications.
Instead of using 2 straws, use 1 pen tube, like take a pen, take off the cap, take the plug out of the back, and take the pen part out.
You should have a tube thats narrow on one side and wide on the other, put the narrow part in the water, this causes the speed of the smoke to increase as it hits the narrow part and spread out through the water.
Next instead of using another straw, and making 2 holes in which air could leak through, just take off the cap and hit the top of the bottle, that dudes an idiot.
Also that does work, I've tried it, but theres no point in smoking a joint through that its wasteful, better way is to just purchase a 5$ bowl and a smoke shop, and attach it to the top of the pen, with tape or something.

yah, or u could use tinfoil. burn a bowl sized hole into the bottle near the bottom, put the tinfoil in right after you finished burning the hole so the plastic kind of sticks to it, and tape it so thers no air getting in. poke some holes into the tinfoil with needle. and you've got a bong. you can also burn another small hole for a choke. and inhale through the top spout part of the bottle. but u cant use water.

Oh ya I forgot about that, me and my friends did that in July with a sprite bottle, and coined a new term "Oh man I am so spritzed right now"
