I am looking for schools of massage, yoga instructor training, midwifery, herbalist training..or anything holistic I could combine with a midwifery and herbalist practice (nutrition, possibly women's studies, any form of healing). I need schools that I can work around 20 hours a week and still afford it. Schools where I could get assistence would also be nice, although I do not know if any qualify or if I would qualify myself. I am willing to relocate, but I am open to distance learning as well and may actually prefer that. It does not have to be accredited, but not a diploma mill either.
i have an old friend whos mother is deeply into that kind of therapy i am going to see her in a few days. i can call her too if you would like and ask her some advice on the subject and get back to you? i have always been a little interested in the subject myself.
Here is one place that you may want to check out. I don't know too much about them. Here is the link. http://www.heartwoodinstitute.com/ I used to go hiking near where they are located, beautiful area.
If you're taking scholastic advice from "smokey_mcpot_420" you have worse problems than a lack of information.
I just started at the Jung Tao school of classical acupuncture. www.jungtao.edu Classical taoist education as well 3-4 years though not sure if you wanna take that long. Beautyful area here as well.
