hi, im gettin dreads in a couple of weeks and i dont wanna use any commercial porducts (cept for shampoo). i was thinkin instead of locking accelerator and wax i could create a mixture of sea salt, lemon juice and water to try and add new knots and more texture. any advise?

dont tie them tight. it causes kinks. .... i dont think it will keep you from getting them, but they wont form while it up.
