This is thread where people can say the name of their garage band..they can also say how they got the name.. then people can say their opinion My garage band's name is The Peace People I got the idea from a kid I was babysitting..she said, You like peace...and you're badn i full of people...peace people? IT stuck. Any good names out there?
I used to play in a band called Stargazer some 20 years ago. I named our band after an old Rainbow song. But I gave up playing the guitar long ago due to personal reasons.
When we first got started it was a huge joke to change our band name every couple weeks - I dont know why it was funny, but it just was at the time, and we must have gone thru several dozen with each stranger than the one before! Often we would call our band after whatever was written on the bass drum head we were using. Rogers, Ludwig, and Rhythm Sounds(where we bought that head) have all been used! We were Trismegistus, Dead Trout, Jam Sammich, Ham Sammich, SandWitch, Inanna, and now we have stuck with Southern Comfort Blues Band for quite a long time, but also get billed as SoComfy or SoCo depending on where we are playing. It suits what we play, and can still be anonymous when we want it to be!
ok...From first band to last band..Short circuit..Onyx...Fine...Stonehenge...and Halo. Im not sure why they were called those names..I didnt name them.
Well this is probably my fave Rainbow song... and in the mid 80s every white kids seems to swim in an ocean of heavy metal... after reflection i m not sure that it was a good thing... at less the name of the band of your youth possessed a good name and it s not out of nowhere... you entered the blackmore family Attack from the Sky The rainbow surfers the key & the candy trees the twillight horizons Red Phone s Ring i had a few names 4 my band with my bro (none here) but those name upthere are just out of my mind... just at the minute
