I love meat loaf. All kinds. mmmmm...... loafy..... My fave way of making it is: 1 lb ground meat (any kind) 1 can condensed creamy chedder soup 1 egg 1 cup rolled oats 1 clove crushed garlic 1 cup ground fresh basil 1 tblsp herbes de provence Mash all together and bake at 325 until cooked... yummy.... bit of Cream of mushroom condensed soup diluted with a little milk makes a yummy gravy...
I love meatloaf too! I have several ways I like to make it... just depends on whether I want spicy, traditional, or creative! Fall and winter are my favorite times to partake in the meatloaf madness!
really? That's so sad... I adore it. It's also a good way to use up leftovers - I go through my fridge at the end of the week (Thursday or Friday) and dump in the food processor any leftover meats and cooked veggies, puree the crap out of it, and weigh it. 1lb goes to one meatloaf, and just prepare the pureed stuff with the soup and cornflakes and egg etc and bake as above... good way to use it up.
