I was wondering what the experienced people thought on this topic, pros and cons of each. I just made a new grow cabinet, and am currently using compact flouresents for the vegi stage. And now I have another level in it, and am debating between using compact flouresents and tbe flouresents. It looks like to me that I can put more of the C/F's in to get more lumens, but I don't know what the benifits to usin tubes is. Thoughts?

Yes, of course compact floros put out more light and are more efficient with electricity than regular floros. Regular floros aren't really bright enough so go compact floros by all means. The ones meant for home lighting are better than regular but not as bright as the grow compact floros available. BOG
