I dont know if anyone knows the answer to my question, but I thought id give it a shot. I was put on informal probation (for possesion) about 2.5 months ago. However I left the country before I was called into the probation office and continued blazing. Last time I smoked was on the 1st of August and I wont be back in the country until the end of august, at which point I have a day until I have to go to my PO. This will give me about a month of clean time. Another side note: I was place on informal or summary probation as a juvenile, but happened to turn 18 in the mean time. Now the first question is, will a month be enough? Ive been hearing things such as 90 days recently. Im a pretty small guy around 5,8, and around 130LB. As far as body fat goes im not sure, I had it tested a few years back at which point I was the same small guy, just shorter and less weight of course and it was under 10%. Should I be worried about failing? Second question, when called in on informal probation does it mean I will most definitly be tested or is there a chance it will be a meeting without a test? Do informal probationers take tests at the PO office (the one I went do does have a testing place) or do you go to a doctor (ive heard others at at different probations offices saying they simply had to get one at the doctor and bring it in). If I do happen to fail at the PO office, will I be arrested on the spot and put in jail? Or will I simply get another court date (which would suck too, but its a lot better). im 5'4 and i got it out of my system in a a week just to be sure go buy a home drug test and use it about 2 weeks before your drug test and if its positive then take a bunch of laxatives
i was put on the informal probation as a juv. and that was on June 22nd and i have met with my prob. officer 3 times and have yet to be tested... i dont know what will go on with you but thats me.
That sucks, believe me, I know. But I have a few things to say which might maqke you feel better. First, A month should be more than enough for you. Second, if you do fail a test, they won't rush you straight off to jail. And third, since you were a juvenile and now you are not, they might decide not to mess with you at all and let you off probation all together. Unless you're dealing with the Mason Municipal Court in Mason, Ohio. But thats my story. I was a pot-head, now I am a probation-head. I went awol on them for over three years (I was originally busted in 2002). Anyway they got me in my apartment for posession and paraphenalia, I finally turned myself in and showed up for court this month. They never put me in jail even though I had a bench warrant on me since 2003. I shelled out some heavy cheese for a lawyer and they dropped the posession charge (the pigs probably smoked it the night I got busted). They put me on probation, again. The first time, before I blew them off, I failed 3 drug tests in a row. I'll try to do better this time , but I definately have a soft spot for the herb. I can also tell you that those fifty dollar drinks are bullshit, don't waste your money. I have just about 3 weeks until my fateful day. I tell everyone I quit, but I also have been cheating, taking two hits or so every couple days. I was an every day smoker for many years and I currently weigh 204 pounds and stand about 5'7". I plan on taking some fat burning metabolizers and drinking lots of water and cranberry juice for the next 3 weeks. I hope that works, it should, as long as I stop with the "little hits" I telll myself won't matter. Hey, maybe I'll slim down a little in the process. Best of luck to you. You are not alone.

Hey man, thanks for your reply. Yes, I too found out about the sad news of Syd's death, Pink Floyd was always great, but when Syd left it was just not the same.. Good info you got there. I am in the same sort of situation, I was a pot head smoking a bunch everyday all day, and now am a probation head too. It absolutely sucks.. I left the country for a while, and was almost thinking about leaving completely just so I could have my dear herbs. But I made a choice to just deal with it I suppose. The comment about them not hauling me off to jail is very good news, believe it or not but after I quit blazing I had all kinds of intense dreams that had to do with probation/jail. You said you failed three drug tests. Did they do anything, such at make your probation longer? Im personally hoping that I just wont get tested.. but that is most likely just wishful thinking.
