I wrote a protest song :)

I've always wanted to write some sort of a protest song and the other day, it hit me so here it is for all who care to read it:

When there is War

When there is war human beings become robots
Who follow orders, invade borders and trigger fatal gunshots
When there is war human beings should only fear
Armorments and their governments who shed not a tear
When there is war its the children who suffer
Lose their fathers and their mothers, then their hearts become tougher
When there is war its the media who profits
They're the same as those they blame 'cause they do nothing to stop it.

Oh how did it come to this again?
Why has it come to this my friend?
We should know by now this should not be allowed
Lets put this war to an end

When there is war we're infected with lies
Rage has the stage and reasons always denied
When there is war there is misunderstanding
There are graves for the brave and religious reprimanding
When there is war there is blinded conviction
Affiliated with hatred and corrupt politicians
When there is war do means justify ends
Is it worth bombing a building for the message it sends

Oh how did it come to this again?
Why has it come to this my friend?
We should know by now this should not be allowed
Lets put this war to an end

When there is war there is national pride
And guns for the ones who think Gods on their side
When there is war there are many shades of gray
Good guys and bad guys all bleed the same way
When there is war we're desensitized
Killing is thrilling and trivialized
When there is war we watch from a distance
Beget no regret when we lend no assistance
